"Hermen Hulst From Helghast..Hermen Hulst From Helghast.." (such a catchy word jingle) Repeat as needed.
Super psyched! Oh yah, does anyone else think his accent is awesome? What kind of accent do you think that is?
loved the campaign to 2 so i really cant wait to play that! The MP needs alotta work tho! i loved how you had qall the game modes rolled into one tho but other then that there was nothing that kept me entralled... im still pumped for a R3 announcement at E3 this year! No3D plz!
@lilmurfer It's not trying to be a Halo-killer (do people even still use that term? lol), it's trying to be a kickass (presumed) end to the franchise/trilogy that is Killzone. What you just said won't be enough to be a real sequel to Killzone 2, and would lose marks out on being too similar to KZ2. and what is so bad about my jetpack cannonball idea? The jetpack has huge arm things, so it's possible and would add a lot of variety, just don't have available in multiplayer.
I am excited to see some different environments. I thought that was one of the hold backs of the game as far as a mute color palate. Hopefully "Bigger game in less time" doesn't mean less attention to this detail of new environments.
I want Luger, I want hacka (sp?) original killzone characters ftw. But yeah make the gameplay a bit smoother, turning in killzone 2 gave me motion sickness :p
@shani_boy101 yeah right. Just increase campaign length, more weapons and attachments, and that's about it. Controls are ok to me, swearing is ok to me (believe me we swear more than Rico at work). Not much to change and a lot to add. The game was way too advanced in its time. It would still be a 'Halo-killer' if released with similar specs now.
Can't wait for a huge reveal at E3. Looking at the design for the jetpacks i'm hoping you can curl yourself up into a ball to protect yourself from bullets and (hopefully) even cannonball yourself into another jetpacker or a group of enemies, stunning them while you take them out with your assault rifle. I might just post this on the official forums lol
@tooki. That would make this game a no brainer pre-order right now! Lol seriously, if they had Keyboard and mouse support it would be one of the best FPS games ever IMO.
ah, Mr. Hulst, thankyou for that. It was very informative, and I hope to see you at E3. Now get back to work!!!
"..bigger game in less time.." = POTENTIALLY NOT GOOD! Aw man, my hopes lowered immediately when he said that. I mean, even the slightest bit of too much pressure can drastically lower the quailty of the final product, so for my own good I will lower my hopes now, rather than when the reviews start churning out a few days before release.
@xCaLLeNisH...fix bad graphics? I'm pretty sure you're the only one in the world who thinks Killzone 2 has bad graphics. Get it together man! The graphics in Killzone 2 are freakin excellent. Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure there is a decent following for the multiplayer too. Don't down a good game just because you're stuck with a 360....
please dont be a repeat of kz2. focus on multiplay a little bit for a change. pretty please? and make controls more usable... and I don't mean by monkeys. Also fix the "cinematic graphics", playing a game where the lighting and shadows aren't moving with you sucks. focus on multiplayer, fix bad graphics, and controls, then kz3 will be great.
Killzone 2 was a mind blowing game! Was not expecting it to be that amazing when I picked it up in stores. If the new information that we have recieved about killzone 3, the time they have to make the game and the previous game is anything to go by, I think we are going to be pleasantly suprised when we can actually play it.
Loved the last game, and in my opinion Killzone 2 was the best, most intense shooter i have ever played......cannot wait for this
I was excited to see KZ2 come out last year but just when I was about to get it. A friend said I could give it a test run at his place. I started playing it but it handled so much different from the demo.... I didn't take the time to fiddle with the control scheme and I don't even know if we can even tweak the controls. The games look so beautiful I would really like to give them a chance.
I enjoyed the first game but the zoom, aim controls were retarded. The game would greatly benefit if they just used the common L trigger to aim, R trigger to fire mechanic. Playing the first game on the more difficult settings was annoying due to the less than ideal controls.
lol sounds like he calls him Hermit at the end of the video. But alot of people are whining about the controls, IMO i thought the controls were fine; i just think they need to add an option to turn off motion blur because it's frustrating.
It would be very cool if in online mode we dont take an hour to put a guy down. its just ridiculous when we have to waste almost a entire mag just to kill a person. This game looks fantastic i think i will buy it. 9.0/10
I dont know how watered down it will look with the inclusion of 3D, but I know when 2 came out, I was jealous that I didnt have a PS3 D= I hope for the gaming community that they make me jealous again.
Things I would like to see is definitely a Co-op campaign, preferably an option to play the single-player campaign with a buddy, or three? In KZ2 there are times were your squad is composed by four players and it would be so much fun if those players could be real. Also, split screen is something I'd love to see, split-screen multiplayer versus and co-op campaign. Easier controls. I'm so used to the Call of Duty controls that I have a hard time playing KZ2 probably because of the sensitivity of the analog but IDK, maybe change them a bit? Yeah co-op is the thing that would make me buy this game
This gy looks just like my friend lol:P The wy he talk and look at other people.:P Oh yes the game gona be good.
It won't be a deal breaker but I really would like some co-op campaign. The whole time I was playing through KZ2 all I kept thinking was how awesome it would be if I was playing through it with a friend. Either way I'm stoked, I really liked KZ2. Still the only game that I've managed to get around to dedicating enough time to getting the platinum trophy.
