I think the funniest thing about this game is the fact way more people are willing to try it just because no fat reviewer has called it crap yet. Freaking sheepish. The sequel really isn't that different. Also, it does have flaws. Indicators tell you where you hit enemies(what the hell this isn't a mech game), film grain was added to hide the ugly visuals, the camera view can get really claustrophobic, there are some lame, weak weapons(it's been a while since I've shot someone three times in the head), and none of the fights matched up to the ones in the original game in the demo. My favorite thing about K&L was some fights would involve the squad and 50 enemies in a giant room, and by the end of it there would always be 50 dead guys and a barely recognizable building that you just blew apart. The destruction is way better in this game, but if they are going for gritty realism I don't see how they are going to explain 50 Chinese gangsters ambushing you.
i loved the aiming in the first, i liked how when you aimed at a guys head it wouldnt always land, thats how it would be, a hand is just naturally not perfectly steady. the voice acting was intense, the shovel scene YOU SHOULDVE LET ME TALK TO THEM :0 i was flippin out. i loved how surreal it was, having taken too many hits you fall to the floor and you go into a deeply psychological state until your partner hits you with an adrenaline stick, from there you just gotta shake it off, grab your gun, and keep blasting, f'in gangstahs. i loved the tractor level, and there were a lot of problems with the last level with the armies... it kinda seemed like the creators just gave up a bit there, you just couldnt move an inch without getting popped. i really hope this one is gonna have alot more spice than the first.
I so want this game to be great seriously download the demo today it is fantastic and a real change of pace from other third person shooters its good. I wish other games did a demo before hand it really does factor into it only pre order ive done this year was for Bfbc2 and heavy rain both had demos so i got em simple.
Dude i passed on the first game because of the reviews, and now this game looks pretty dam cool. I love the reastic camera angles and the graphics and gameplay are top notch for that matter as well. Can NOT wait
I like how they are trying to make their multi-player different than all the rest. Cant wait to play this game
and its cause of eidos's fusion with square that they were able to finance the rest of the game probably cause im pretty sure they started it a long time ago
Stop whinning about the first game it was more than ok. I think for my part that gamespot underrated it cause of the mechanics and some other stuff but as soon as u get a good hang out of it its a pretty fun game to play with a friend. stresses u out in your always in the middle of the action and graphics were pretty good for the time i wouldve rated it at least 7 but more of a 7.5
We need to send these developers to warzones to broker peace, I can't believe they accually got money for a second game.
This game has embraced the much loved reality TV show COPS... it has the intensity & style that's heads and shoulders above other shooters...
The last game wasn't that bad, wusses. Buying this day one. Fragile Alliance was one of the best multiplayer modes I've ever experienced in my life.
I actually enjoyed the Demo... The camera gave me a very bad headache when I first played it (Especially when running) the swaying got a little to much at times (I may just be getting old =P) ... But after an hour you get use to it. Multi-player was very well done as well... Lag at times, but this is a demo. Edit: The Hidden Demo what I did was text a number and they sent ya a Redeem code. It was for X-box though (As far as my knowledge... I didn't check my PS3). And there is no more codes as I know at the moment.
