Just Cause 2 Peter Johansson Interview
We talk to lead designer Peter Johansson about Just Cause 2.
I'm pleased with the gameplay throughout the demo, I didn't like the short dialog in the beginning, but will withheld judgment until I see the full game. but the dialog of Bolo Santosii is silly. it would be nice though to have multiplayer soon. the game have lots of options to cause chaos against each other. will add extra life to the fun
I hate this guys excuse for not making it multiplayer. "More modes would make people move on quicker..." Um, no.
What a bummer!!! Me and my friend were playing it side by side on our own tvs just thinking, " man would this be awesome if you could free roam with a friend, I hope they have multiplayer!!!". I am fine with focus on single player driven games but its the year 2010! online gaming is where its at! i just want free roam with a friend, is that so much to ask? it wouldn't be hard at all to do! screw u sweeds! i thought of buying this game but now i might just rent it a couple times and be done.
No multi player... so what. tI would have just been a couple of sandbox maps with some boring capture the flag or deathmatch modes. This game just looks FUN! Im glad its only single player. You can just sit down for an hour or two and have a fun time playing....
I cannot believe this game is SINGLE player....as if they didn't learn from the first game that it took like 3 to 4 real time minutes to cross the whole freaking world. Having a huge world is great don't get me wrong, but it gets boring having to do different missions alone and as slow as you move in the world, NO GOOD. I was hoping co-op atleast but since Peter Johansson confirmed single player only, i'm having a difficult time convicing myself to not cancel my pre-order.
i don't think i have ever played a demo so many times on one week :D i already played for the game so now i just have to wait :)
looks great but why quicktime events? WHY? I don't want to have to play dance dance revolution every time I want to pull a driver out of a car...
Ah, I can't get enough listening to Swedes talking english in our own little special way. High quality game, it seems. Had fun with the demo until it crashed.
this is one of the only companies today who focuses totally on single player rather than multiplayer.
