lol loads of fails "we throw a grenade...but the enemy sees it and tuns away" "We throw a flashbang...but the tactic doesn't work" lol still this looks worth while, for a modest price of course.
I played the Demo on Steam. Fun game. Decent graphics. The game play is chaotic. In the demo my grenades never went that far. There is just so much to do. I feel they could have simplified the controls to speed things up.
I might give it a chance, enjoyed X-Com series and Silent storm/sentinels kind of gameplay, curiously enough I have never picked any JA games before.
Bad news. >:-( I have waited for 13 long years for nothing. The game is a complete let down for older JA fans, like me. Although the graphics are okay (the only goodthing), there's a lot of bad things. The characters portrait and voices was really f**ed up bigtime: they ALL look and sound bad and the same. They sound unexpressive, like the programmers want to cut deeply the game's budget and put their cr*ppy own voices to the game. They killed the spirit of the game dumping the excellent 'action points' system by replacing it with a messy UFO-like "plan-and-go" bullsh*t. As far I have played, there's no fog of war (unacceptable to me). Simply put: it doesn't feel like JA anymore. Sadly.
the gameplay seems good but the graphic?! just take a look at the faces at the upper left of the vid !!!
@Satan666HellDie Its gamespot. They dont promote PC games here. They cater for consoles. They dont even have this game in the "Coming Soon" secition
promotion anyone? Didnt even know there was a new Jagged game coming out next week. Really hope its good, cus I had alot of fun with the old games.
hope theres music also... in this vid there isnt... maybe they turned it off. But the music in both jagged alliance 1 and 2 were classic
Nails doesn't sound like Axel Rose anymore. That's alright . I just hope they didn't change Fidel's voice too much. I haven't played JA2 in ten years but i still say "Hokay" at work all the time.
The enemy threat detection seems a bit off. Early on in the video, a guy is headshot standing in the same room as six other dudes (with a silencer, admittedly) and no one else notices. It would also be nice to see the rest behavior of enemies (i.e. before they're fighting) made more interesting. Why aren't they talking, having coffee, smoking, etc?
