I always at least give Indie AAA titles a chance before I discard them. They seem to be the games that try new ideas, while Halo and COD, while fun, rehash the same ideas over and over. Everyone seems to forget that Halo wasn't the first game to do...well, anything. Marines in green armor had been done before, and fighting hostile alien species had been done before. You don't have to be a huge company with unlimited resources like Bungie to put out a decent product.
*facepalm* looks like another epic fail. what do these guys do? Sit around a table and go, "Hey, I have an idea for a game! It's gonna try to be Halo, except that it's NOT halo, and we're not Bungie, which means it's gonna suck, and the graphics are gonna suck, and it's going to have no story what so ever, and it's going to be another Section 8, another bland and lifeless game that we are going to lose money on because people have [for the most part] FIANLLY stopped eating whatever crap the games industry feeds them, and they are all really sick of sub-par games like this one." Yeah, sorry about that. I guess the game isn't out yet, so I shouldn't be too critical, but after all the less than mediocre FPS out there, I get pretty sceptical when I see something like this.
this is one awesome looking game. and its being released first for the PC....then ported to consoles.
wrenz i think thats what they are going for. i mean the aliens are shark dogs. the name as u mentioned. and the story will likely be the same as every other "space marine" game out there. it will likely be a game that tries to win ppl over with humor or clever gameplay mechanics.
I'm pretty sure they would win it for most unoriginal name. Who thinks that names like these are okay? Who gives the final go ahead for these titles?
