doesn't look much promising, but i cant say dont bother, coz cricket fans like me still want some cricket action. obviously we can adjust getting a chicken burger if 'tandoori chicken' is not available!! lol!!
Ashes 09 just didnt play well - poor and slow animations - loads of glitches - only english and Ausie players - unbalanced gameplay - inconsistant difficulty settings. I didnt think it improved over Brian Lara 07 in anyway than slightly better textures but no need to worry this one will has a new camera angle!!! WOW!!
Oh no. I've been waiting for a decent cricket game after the DREADFUL Ashes 2009. Looks like this is just Ashes with different clothes on so I think I'll give it a swerve. I don't get how codies can lose the plot so badly - Brian Lara 2005 totally nailed the atmosphere and camera and was one of the best sports games I've played. I was expecting so much from PS3/360 potential but they've cocked it up every time so far. Perhaps EA should give it another go?
Its not releasing on PC!! OHHHHH NOOOO!! I am a huge cricket fan but will not be able to play it! I hope they release on pc sooner rather than later!
the animation still looks the same...i still think that they should just get the first great Brian Lara Cricket 99 and up the graphics engine....that game had the best crowd atmosphere till date including commentators like Geoffrey Boycott......I donno but i dont like these cricket series at all......difficult to understand that since im a huge cricket fan..
I wonder why people bother playing these games, It's been the same since 2000, the only good games in the series were EA Cricket 97, 2001, and codemasters Brian Lara Cricket 2005, every other game was the same.
there is a lot more to develop for cricket first as yalid said 1 names of the crickters 2 Compelete List Of teams 3 All grounds 4 Player Faces 5 new Comentators (tony greg , ramiz raja , harsha, ravi etc) 6 Real tournaments (T20 worldcup, IPL ICC knockout cup) 7 Fines and bans as match must have a natural but player control fouls like FIFA series yellow and red crads etc..............
Weellll - looks like it might be a step forward from the Ashes 2009 offering from last year - a tiny step though not a leap :(
