hey nether realms where is fanities and herioc brutaity because i like mk9 and mk vs. dc so if you read this comment add them please
Hey, I won't lie: I'm impressed by what I've seen so far. I like the uses of the environments as weapons in a fight. The supers are funny & cool, and I like the combos too. Nightwing & Cyborg are nice additions to the roster.
Looks like Nightwing could burst into a ballet tutorial any minute... or hit you with a purse instead of an iron bar... :p
looks too serious why does DC try so hard to be dark? Because of batman? look at marvel they have fun vibrant characters in Marvel Vs Capcom
so yall bitching about Superman being overpowered, but its ok to for Pheanix Wright, a fucking Lawyer to fight the Hulk in MvC3, I dont get yall lol
Im not really a fan of fighting games but this looks pretty awesome. I love DC comics and love the fact that all the "heroes" have gone bad so I think I'll have to check this out.
What kind of fighting game it would be if Superman owned everyone? It's bad enough with MvC3 players spamming Sentinel
And if they remove Superman they could just stop calling the game DC anything.
If they had done this with Marvel characters, I probably would've thought about it. I mean, I'm sorry, but DC characters are just too overpowered to be in a fighting game. It just wouldn't feel right to me if I used Superman and lost to Cyborg or Night Wing, and it'd feel a bit ridiculous for Harley Quinn to beat Wonder Woman or Flash or something.
Just me being nit-picky I guess, but DC should tone the power of their characters down by a mile or two.
Perfect adition fNightwing it is but i would had prefer The Cybord Superman instead of Cyborg but ok still plenty of characters left to present i would like highter characters such as The Spectre tho
Looks pretty good, considering that I usually don't play fighting games. Might have to rent this and check it out
this game looks fantastic! im not really into fighting games but even i can seem myself getting this
This looks pretty awesome. I know I'm about to sound like an MK fanboy, but this game will be fascinating if they find a way to work finishers into it before it's out of development. Maybe not everyone has to kill the opponent. Maybe the good guys find a creative way to land the other player in jail or asylum or something.
I dunno; there's something really satisfying about the closure that comes with finishing moves. In MK fights, those sombitches are over when they're done.
Dont care bout the whole "superman would rule everyone" BS. who cares, game looks fun. I just know a character i've wanted to be in a DC fighter since MK vs DC won't be in this one either if they keep putting in people like cyborg an Grundy. Come on, this genre screams for some Lobo!!!
Wow, basement nerds saying they won't play it because of characters taking on Superman in toe-to-toe battles. Congratulations, you're twice as pathetic as you were before (quite an accomplishment). Judge the game on whether it looks fun and plays well, not on some arbitrary gripe that will undoubtedly be addressed in the game's story mode. Also, "lol" at people saying they should make a DC fighting game without super popular characters like Batman in it because they can't fight the heavy weight. Good idea, take out some of the most recognizable heroes with the biggest fanbases!
@Fartman7998 From what I know about it, you wager amounts of power and whoever bets more wins. I'm not sure exactly how it works but I think that's the gist of it.
@MrCoolGuy420 appearance and ability-wise, they are pretty similar characters, so I think that's to be expected to a degree, especially considering it's the MK devs making this game. Both are black men with cybernetic enhancements, Cyborg's are just far more elaborate. It'd likely seem like a much more significant difference if they used the younger version of Cyborg.
I hate sentinel spam. HEck, I hate SPAM!
@chipwithdip LOL DC overpowered???? WTF are YOU talking about? Try Silver Surfer. Thanos, Galactus, Wolverine, Hulk, Professor X, Phoenix, Dark Phoenix, Dr. Strange, SuperSkrull, Thor. I can continue forever. Marvel Comics are WAAAAY more overpowered. I mean, yeah, Batman would beat them all, but we're not getting into all that.
@chipwithdip I see you point too chip. If all the rules of the comic book world is applied, then, I wouldn't buy this game. It would be broken as far as I'm concerned. Superman would demolish Nightwing along with any other DC characters who are 'mere mortals'. Good thing the rules from the comic world dont apply since fairness is a factor in fight games. Else the outcome would to too predictable.
@chipwithdip I can see what your saying, but its kinda like a spin-off so just swallow it and have fun
@Slipknotdayof9 Having a shapeshifter like Beast Boy would be interesting but Boon had problems even with Shang Tsung's shapeshifting so I wouldn't hold my breath.
@rykeut I agree about the close that comes with finishing moves, it's one thing that puts MK above other fighting games for me. Ending the match with any old simple move is just too anti-climactic for me. As long as creatively tossing them in jail was better than the heroic brutalities in MK vs. DC, I'd be fine with it. Especially if killing was still an option for characters who had no bizarre moral objections to it, even if they are good guys. If Deathstroke is in it and he can't kill, that's just gonna feel weird.
@Klokateer But...if you're wagering power, wouldn't you just...not wager, if the other person has more? Lol
@biggims17 How could Batman possibly beat any of them? Even if he could defeat them, that's only a small, temporary victory. He's mortal and unwilling to kill and most of them are immortal and willing to kill. They would come back as many times as it takes until they either killed him or he died of old age. Galactus eats planets, Hulk can beat gods to death, Phoenix and Wolverine can survive being on the surface of the sun. I don't think any DC/Marvel characters are 100% unkillable, and Batman has plenty of tricks up his sleeve but I don't think he would stand much of a chance against most of those characters. Both Marvel and DC have their strong and weak characters but I agree that Marvel has a larger amount of strong characters. Maybe one day Disney and WB can come to some agreement and make a Marvel vs. DC game. I doubt it, but we can hope. They have done cross-overs before but I think that was just with the comics though and it was before Disney bought Marvel.
@Fartman7998 That's exactly what I was thinking when I heard the idea but I think they said they have some way of keeping the other player from knowing how much you decide to wager but they were still hammering out the details at least at the time. It may have been a points = odds kinda thing (like 60 points would equal 60% chance of winning the wager), I'm not entirely sure. It was mentioned in an article around the time of E3.
@biggims17 lol fair enough. However I wouldn't doubt the all-consuming evil of the Disney Corporation. Disney is almost like a smaller, real-world version of Galactus, except more evil.
@Klokateer Lol. I'm a Batman fanboy, I'm gonna say Batman beat's everyone. In older fan votes, he literally beat everyone he went up against. But either way, you are correct. They won't ever make a crossover game, unless Disney buys DC too, which I doubt will ever happen. But nonetheless, I was just trying to get my point across that Marvel is more OP than DC. BY FAR. Except for Batman.... Lol
