fire would make more sense than ice in terms of powers but my main complaint is that the red lightning is too lightly colored. It looks like cole slapped some red paint on his hands and started shooting white lightning bolts through it.
why would they take the guy thats in the first infamous and put him in the second one. i thought that they had a different person in the second game but i guess they decided to change the character that was in the first one and add him onto the second.
Sonic Unleashed would've been my first PS3 game because it was just $15 at GameStop but I decided it wasteful because I didn't have a PS3. Later I got a 60GB Refurb from GameStop, and bought Infamous from Amazon because it came with a controller and my PS3 had a plain Sixaxis. Infamous was my first complete next-gen experience and I was thoroughly blown away. Sonic Unleashed, while pretty good, wouldn't have done that.
@Xaiteev I thought the same thing at first. I think they justify the ice powers by stating that cold is not generated but instead simply the absence of heat energy. Cole being able to create ice by removing heat is acceptable to me. If he starts shooting lasers out of his eyes or shapeshifting, then i'll be irritated. probably not enough to stop playing this series......but still.
inFAMOUS 2, Uncharted 3, Batman Arkham City, ACR, Skyrim, and L.A. Noire, HOLY CRAP this year is AWESOME!!
Is it just me or is the whole using ice thing kinda ruining the game. I mean it looks awesome but the whole electricity conduit thing was what made Infamous cool. Now that they can do other element stuff it just looks like a action oriented avatar game (the last air bender not the blue people one)
L.A. noire and then Infamous 2 and portal 2 co-op maybeand Duke nukem and Alice 2..... man it's gonna be awesome!
I still got two more blue shades to find and i swear i have searched each city thick to thin.. I will find them tho..
will i need to play the first one to understand this ones story? ill be getting my first ps3 in about a week and will want to pick this up so i just wanted to kno
SOOOO cool, they have improved everytihng that I wanted them to. I love that they have made the powers look more cool, I hate games when the powers they use dont look cool as well as do stuff.
@TheArabianHero Not yet, by the end of the month maybe, but we have heard somethin' similar before, like the PSN was under maintenance for two days, which still continues...
Combat has surely improved (hand to hand I mean), so is the consuming of electricity while using powers, it was kinda frustratin' trying to recharge all the time...
reckon they will include Move support, it wouldn't hurt. you can still use the ds3 its just another control option for move users.
Game is turning out to be very impressive, can't wait to play it. Definitely looks better visually then the first game and the enhanced gameplay is a welcomed sight.
@king0s they explained in another video, you can switch through all your powers using the d-pad and use them using r1, pretty seamlessly it seemed
i loved infamous but it could be better, infamous 2 its like if they corrected all the game! but still i think that could be even better! i want to see how they gona make the controls for so many power.. i want do to combos!
@Justp94 Guess I can't expect anything more from ps3 fanboys... infamous one was a bit of a dissapointment to me, deal with it. Your opinion does not constitute fact.
I hope this gets a high score and it looks better than the 1st Infamous and Prototype and with the release of Duke Nukem Forever coming on a similar date schedule, its both gona be all hail to the kings baby!
This really does look like fun. enjoyed the first game to the max and was great fun and this 2nd round over hyper intensifies it already from what i can see. I am looking forward to some lazy hourly nights sinking my time into playing this game, has a kinda retro feel to it too but playing infamous feels like a real game compared to other games being made these days.
Omg hurry up June!!!! I need to decide on buying brink and hoping I can save up enough money by then, or not buying brink and buying it for sure.
The question isn't whether you want to be good or evil. The question is, which play through will you choose to be good, and which play through will you choose to be evil.
@jokersrus Bjklol- +14 jokersrus- -1 yep. its just like you said. gotta love those ps3 fanboys. Thanks guys! btw, its interesting to note that ur pic is of joker whose challenge maps for Batman: AA were PS3 exclusives. hey, just sayin...
