IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad is as real as it gets - The Lobby
Albert Zhiltcov and Jason Williams show off a demo and explain just how real their IL-2 flight simulator is.
Reasons not to buy this game
If there will not be need to unlock planes and pay for repaird like in War Thunder – then it will be best dogefight game ever.
Can't wait for this, I hope they add in more factions later in release, would love to see a return of their game Pacific Fighters. One thing I do hope as well is that they get the sounds right, especially for the BF-109's, I really disliked the lawnmower sounds and the sound of the guns/cannons firing in COD.
I would love to play a "Battle of Britain " flight sim with Oculas Rift. That would be so awesome. Looks great its a shame I don't have a decent PC. Hopefully some one will do a good flight sim for next gen consoles.
I hate when they get a guy who isn't good english to describe the game. I understand you let the passionate ones speak but, all I was hearing is gibberish. I'm loosing interest. I'll check this out, may be I can get into this.
Graphics wise looks very similar to War Thunder.. the guys that did War Thunder worked on the last IL-2 game I think but I guess they had nothing to do with this one?
Might check it out when its released :)
Whose the middle guy in the black shirt? Needs to dial back the generic marketing speak, really off putting.
Hahaha, that was like the worst gameplay presentation ever near the end when he got owned by the AI pilot. Still funny though. That russian guy got some passion, which is good. Game looks good as well, both gameplay and presentation.
@Jasper_73 If it's on a console it's not a flight sim.
@cashandchecks "I hate when they get a guy who isn't good english to describe the game." Is not good English
@Caldrin this game is made by the original devs of the series, War thunder is made from gaijin entertainment but they did an offical port of IL-2 game to console titled bird of prey.
