@lindallison Yeah, much more straight forward way of saying it. And to be honest I strongly agree with you. Just trying to avoid getting a hail storm of comments because I pissed off a bunch of fan boys by being honest. So thanks for doing the dirty work. Wait is this a DLC game? because then I would understand the simple controls.
Eh. The spawns are atrocious on a few maps (getting spawn killed 3-4 times in a row in a 25 point game is a big deal). Some modes rely on you not dying and trying to get as many kills as possible, but then there are abilities that insta-gib enemies with 0 counter play. Just not my style I guess. Didn't find that much fun in the simplistic gameplay.
I've been looking for space combat with no "real up". I know this game is still in the works, but the "cover" looks really pre-designated. It kind of comes off more as leap-frog with guns. I want to like this, but it still looks a little over simplified. I have hope, yet it does not look as open as you would expect from a "space game".
Basically, it's 'shattered horizons' with more bells and whistles. http://www.gamespot.com/shattered-horizon/
@sinclairhxc I don't know about the most refreshing game that could come out. I do kinda agree with you though. This game reminds me of Unreal or something.Like you said, fast paced old school shooter action.
It took me a little while to see it but I think this game looks really cool. When they talked about their previous games I was a little skeptical, but once (who ever was playing) got much better at playing it and as the video went on I started to see how everything worked. So yeah I think this looks pretty great! I might have to buy more xbox live to gold to play it,
Uh...this actually looks really awesome... The only thing I didn't like was the elimination of running
butt tons of weapons, original cover system, old school arcade-shooter action, fast paced gameplay.... in this day and age, this is the most refreshing thing that could come out.
