House of Horrors - Silent Hill 2
Jess and Zorine take on the second instalment of the Silent Hill saga and take on leg monsters and the terrifying Pyramid Head.

I dont think there will be another HoH till next week as the epsode they did yesterday was, to be honest, terrible and im a big fan of the show.
I really enjoy this episode special cause it was about SH one of my favorite videogames sagas but for me SH3 has better scare moments so i hope i can see you girls pla it in a next episode, and i have some advices so you can play more "easy" i don''t know if you pass to some difficult times playing it cause we only see the "highlights" but anyway when you knock down a moster be sure to kick it in the ground a couple of times with the action boton to kill him, in the SH games i recommend to you to play with melee weapons to save ammo besides is more effecttive against alone enemies, if you turn off the flash light enemies can´t see you and is more easy to attack them, and finally when you confront an enemy you can "evade", sort of, by running and using one of the R2 or L2 buttons to move fast to one direction and if you combine with the directional you can move faster and be able to dodge an anemy attack and be able to put you behind or close to them to attack.
BTW like a curious fact, the weapon in the shopping card is a critical to the gun law in the USA, saying that is very easy to get a weapon like it was in a supermarket, and respect jess doubt pyramid head was "having sex" with them, is because represent the james sexual repressed instincts against his sick wife but i wont say anymore to avoid spoilers.
Nice episode girls, having a good time like always, see ya
Ah yes....a show that has two attractive girls playing a horror game that makes them scream n' stuff...
Jess and Zorine should learn to quit laughing! Spoilt the whole trill and spookiness of Silent Hill!
Great episode, Zorine is tough as always, Jess is.. entertaining as always LOL. I'm kinda bummed that the livestream got moved to mondays. The stream is on at 10am monday here and mondays are my busiest work day. I won't be able to tune in a lot.
Awsome vid girls love you both but Zorine has my hearth... well virtualy.... :P Jess has to play F.E.A.R!!
Great vid as usual! I wish you had played it with a memory card, because then it would be a possibility for you to continue the game at a later point, like you did with Project Zero 3. The atmosphere only gets better in my opinion, and the story is filled with weird and disturbing moments. A lot of people complain about the voice acting, for me though, I was so into David Lynch at the time I started playing it, that it really made sense and added to the weird and surreal atmosphere. Anyways, I'm really happy you played Silent Hill 2, because it is one of my all time favorite games. I would love to see you guys playing any of the other Silent Hills as well, especially Silent Hill 3 or Silent Hill 4: The Room.
Gotta be cool to go back and play a game that was released when the reviewers were about 11 years old. When I was 11 I was playing the all new scary Friday the 13th for NES.
really love the show... every episode make wanna rewind a bit to the point when jess screams :) sorry it is just addictive hahaha :D
can i suggest nice horror games to make you go more nuts?
it can be:
Project Zero 2: Wii Edition
The Walking Dead, any episode
Rule of Rose, a personal fave
F.E.A.R. and F.E.A.R. 2
really love the show... jess is lovely when she screams :D
keep up the good work! looking forward for more!
When I was a kid, my father always told me if I got married that I would eventually end up alone in a decrepit apartment with nasty tenants having orgies in the next room... "Silent Hill 2" is reminding me of my childhood in the strangest ways.
I know that most people at Gamespot don't care for Dead Island, or Dead Island: Riptide, but I vote that you two give one of those games a try. I think it'd be great! :)
@rayonmachristie what game did they played?
@TheWormRodman Challenge accepted. I shall endure the entire next episode without cracking up, or so help me!
@TheWormRodman They are cute that's why! \^o^/
@bgranli Silent Hill 3 is my favourite!! I've still got my copy+save file so that is perhaps worth revisiting.
@bgranli I'm sure we'll revisit Silent Hill soon!
@ecs33 I agree, SH3 is more frightening. But SH2 has a better story, atmosphere, monster design, sound and is more disturbing. SH3 looks a lot better though, man the graphics in that game were incredible.
@ecs33 Well I guess there is a limit between frightening and disturbing. I am all for frightening stuff and SH series is my all time fav horror game. Though after playing SH4 I was really depressed.. That game was deep and it crossed the limit O_O
@SolidMadness2 Probably. But I played the first game before it so it had a greater impact on me. Not knowing about the sirens and the world changing and all that.
First time in that creepy school up to the world changes and the inevitable boss fight.
Graphics on the PS1 was a very limiting factor though. Even if it did look nice at the time it was new.
I also like the music and the story better in the first game.
@1AngrySoldier But they aren't really horror games...
but ...I like when you laugh.
Although it could be fun watching you try not to laugh too.
@Zorine@bgranliSH3 is my favorite too! It's the scariest game I have played, personally. I think it is impossible to un-see some of the rooms in the "nightmare" hospital. Heather is also one of the coolest protagonists in a video game. Truly a bad ass.
And who is this guy?! Why does he keep showing up in the background? Why does he like turning valves?! Is it a hint that "Half-Life 3" is confirmed?!?!?!
@Zorine @bgranli Yeah, Silent Hill 3 is sooo good and really scary. The graphics, as you mentioned while playing Silent Hill 2, are phenomenal. Definitely some of the best on the PS2. Only thing I didn't like so much, were some of the monsters. They weren't nearly as disturbing as the ones in Silent Hill 2. Silent Hill 4 is also super scary, but very different from the previous games. It's still really good though, and if it was released as a new IP as it was intended, I'm pretty sure people would've looked more favourably upon it.
@Ink129 @1AngrySoldier For me they weren't, but I've seen plenty of other people who were scared of the Dead Island games. Look at Jess' reaction to SH2 and she wasn't even the one playing. She would probably get freaked out by it. Aside from the non-scariness, they are both fun games.
