Halo: Spartan Assault Video Review

Halo: Spartan Assault transfers adequately from mobile platforms to the Xbox One, with microtransactions in tow.

Was debating between this and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood. I think I'm going with Max.

I like the idea of limiting ammo.... looks like a decent game maybe I'll get it when it's cheap

6.0? kinda low for this game. Kevin i advise you to drink couple of beers and smoke weed and play this game and re-review it again. ill Personally give it 7.9 or 8 something like that. Happy New Year!

Seems like a harsh score, but I haven't played it myself.

@torbjorno seems slightly generous based on the review;

short single player,

very limited co-op,

micro transactions to boost scoring make a mockery of leader boards in competitive modes

I feel for reviewers these days,no way these transactions can sit well with anyone in the gaming community.

We can only stop it as a community, together, through sticking with the f2p models that offer cosmetic only purchases like Team Fortress 2 and Path of Exile. And turning a cold shoulder to the pay to win models that want to have a user/addict base rather than a fan base.

@bob_loblaw1981@torbjorno As far as I am concerned, the review didn't mention anything about microtransations that would hamper the game for most players. I don't like MTs but in this case it seems mild.

The game length is 6-7 hours, +1-2 hours for the Flood mode. That's not bad for a $15-$20 game.

I didn't say the game was perfect, but 6.0 also seems extremely harsh based on the feedback in the review.
