and i now you guys are saying wheres his muscles? he looks scrony blah blah blah its really the suit that counts cause i read the game booklets while the game is installing and it says that the suit enhances all that stuff
Is that... Matt Damon? :P I love the part at the end where the reflection of his face matches into his helmet!
ive been playing the halo reach beta and it is the same bs as the last one i was very disappointed it reminded me of mw and mw2 people keep saying the visuals are nicer stop bsin bc their not nicer they are almost the same ive came to the conclusion of screw the beta im just going to wait for red dead redemption at least that will i have fresh brand new ideas unlike halo which has been the same for almost 10 years
ITS A ******* AD stop trying to read to much into it!!!!! a 2 minute one at that. What exactly do you lot want?????????????. If you want the whole story buy the games and read the books it was not a full length feature film .I dont know wether to laugh or cry when I read some of these comments!
if you look carefully at the asian guys badge in the back of the truck, it says 'Kat' so im thinking that these guys were the original Noble team...all suiting up together. Coz in Halo:Reach theres only Carter and Kat left alive.
um people saying "why does he have a photo of his family if hes an orphan" hes an ORPHAN meaning he lost his parents it is posible for him to have a picture of them orphans dont just grow on trees...
He's a Spartan III which is nowhere near as altered as a Spartan II and they are usually trained in much less time so he won't be as big as the Spartan II's that train for pretty much their entire life. For all the people that seem to be whining about how he's thin and how the process is simple.
It's intresting to see how/if they are going to work the story of reach around the story of the novels. People who have read them will know that the only spartan III's that are mentioned are on onyx during the fall of reach and only wear SPI armour.
I'm guessing based on the novels that hes getting biochemically altered with those injections so he can withstand the strength of the spartan suit
NoiseMonkeyy Posted May 1, 2010 1:04 pm GMT @YoJim8obaJoe I don't know how much halo you have played but they are a few live action trailers around for Halo, as well as that weird one with the models that came out a while back for H3 I think bungie are just trying to be a bit different with their trailers, not cover anything up Learn to read, the first paragraph was someone elses quote.I was talking to him saying live action DOESNT mean cover up of bad graphics, using examples of good graphics games using live action trailers like Resi 1 and 5
Spartans aren't really that big, except for those select few, who wants a hulking spartan when you get can get a nimble, fast reflexed commando in freakin body amrour.
@HardWired94 I don't think all spartans had to be. And anyway, it says he's a Spartan III class. Isn't that different from Master Chief? So maybe Spartan III classes can be skinny?
uh why do so many people have to complain or be negative just about a trailer. there was probably alot of work put into it and no one seems to respect that. could you make a trailer or any type of cinematic like that? probably not so just appreciate for what it is and wait for the game to come out to base your judgment on how it really is. halo has kind of made a name for itself after all these years and i dont think they put this much work into a a piece of s***.
At the time of Halo 1 Master Chief was around 40. I'll have to check the novels and compare dates to see what age the SPARTAN III's were, I think they were around 20-25 but I'll have to check.
@Vishant well maybe he had some from when they were alive. but then again i dont know much about halo story line anyway.
Heh, actually pretty good. Though I'd always imagined getting tooled up to be a Spartan would be a little more involved!
The spartan III's of which this guy is one, they were orphans, genetically falling just outside the restrictions on the SPartan II's and so his photos with his family would not have happened

All spartans go through this type of genetic and chemical alteration. Masterchief (John) was picked at the age of 6 to become a spartan. My guess is that this guy probably still has many more alterations and training to complete before he is a fully fledged spartan.
monday multi player beta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! which batch aint got ODST !!!!!! i feel srry 4 dat biatch!!!!! IT SUCKZ HOW U CANT SWEAR!!!!!!!!!!
Can anyone please name the song, or is this a Halo original song? Thanks and can't wait, the games gonna be awesome
ODST is a great game because...wait for it...it isn't Master Chief. It's human marines on a FUBAR mission against all odds. Aside from the price(it should have been 39.99 like it was supposed to be) there is absolutely nothing wrong with ODST and only bolsters Bungie's reputation of making games with story.
@ YoJim8obaJoe for a beater inside in the whole Halo universe I suggest watching the Halo Legend (five production houses for a series of seven short animated films called Halo Legends) and i think that are at leas a couple of books but I haven't read them, the whole universe that the series are set in has a huge story telling potential, I hope that this part has at least a good story :)
Skargamer the suit is sooo much bigger than him... ODST was the only Halo game i bought, 'cause i bought my xbox recently, and i was disappointed as hell. i hope this doesn't fare the same... If ODST was ur first halo game then i can see why u got disappointed, beacuse all the hype around halo has been created by halo 1, 2 and 3 not ODST, it just brought it a litle down but it was still great, but the originals are the best halo games. and ODST is just a spinoff.
4_Horsemen Posted Apr 30, 2010 10:40 pm GMT I think that when a game trailer shows live action or CG movies. Instead of in-game graphics. It's usually a cover up. A distraction if you will because the actual game isn't that good. They've invested so much in it's development and need to sell tons of copies just to break even. So they resort to this and trick people in to buying it. I was tricked with Halo 3. Won't make that mistake twice. I can think of many great games with live action trailers and cutscenes, look at resident evil, some of the best graphics on a console at the time used live action for trailers and cutscenes.Hell Resi 5 had live action cutscenes, you telling me they bad graphics as well?
Halo reach is going to be the halo gamer i have ever played it looks ******* cool and i really want to to see good gameplay videos

@Jhraxlin I think that Halo's last two live-action shorts, We Are ODST and LANDFALL, prove that a Halo movie is very feasible, and wanted. Sci-fi epics are popular, just look at Avatar and the very first Starship Troopers. I guarantee you we'll be seeing a Halo movie in the next few years.
