Halo is a franchise that PC gamers will warmly accept. it has an epic universe, gameplay that resemble 90s arena shooters with vehicular combat as well. and it's a sci fi shooter, it's a perfect medium for PC and Microsoft should know it.
Cool. Would of rather listened to something other than the dubstep. It was sweet a year ago until skrillex got it overrated. ANYWAYS this should add some interesting multiplayer action.
Damn the MGS reference has already been done so err... Behold! Scout Titans have arrived to bring vengeance on the enemies of the Imperium!
wubDubstep everywhere... between the games and car-commercials, isn't it enough already? Movies that feature it are starting to fall flat
Why cant they release Halo on windows..both are products of Microsoft,so it wouldent hurt them much, would it ?
"Yo dwag I heard you like armors, so I've put the armored spartans in another aromor, so that you can be armored when you're armored" ;)
I'm rather shocked to only see 1 metal gear reference since they actually do look like metal gears, but since that and starwars is referenced already I'll just say that we can use those to protect the gates of Zion....
Given the difficulties shown in the books in making a super soldier (the spartans) I suppose it makes sense to develop a more mobile heavy weapons platform that could be used by any marine to do a similar job (except the the covert aspects the Spartans were meant for) without the time and expense of the MJOLNIR armor. I'm not too hot on the designs themselves as in that they don't seem quite right for the universe. But on the other hand they remind me of the VTs from Steel Battalion so eh, whatever. X3
When I first saw this trailer I thought the vehicle seemed a little out of place and wouldn't add too much to the combat that wasn't already in other vehicles some how... Then I thought about it some more.. Imagine custom games and custom forge maps where every player is in one of these things, or how well these things could do in machinima videos (avatar remakes anyone? hah). The prospect of what this adds to the halo sandbox just gets me more excited for this game than I already was. See you on Nov. 6th
Mech Assault 3? haha I'm excited for this game, but it bothers me that they are doing so many things that seem . . . well un "Halowy." Just sayin, the bad guys look like fancy Bionicles, and this new mech thing is like "what does that have to do with Halo?" I've played the games since the first day of the first game, but these new "add-ons" feel a little out of place.
haha, the teabag literally made me laugh out loud. This looks cool. I'm a PS3 guy but I've loved all the halo games and this keeps looking better and better. Looks like I'm buying another xbox soon to play this :)
@tahashaikh15 It's a marketing strategy, so people keep buying the 360...
3 Words: "DON'T STOP IT"
@LittleChatelain Indeed, I thought of this.
@Nimbil nah that's just tf2
@Owner34 What's more halo like than teabagging while inside a mechanized avatar of war?
Mechs have been seen in the expanded fiction (novels and Halo Legends) also there are mech units that you can control in Halo Wars, so it is not exactly unheard of in that universe.
@Krinnium No vehicle can be op cause the complete counter to it is that every vehicle is hijackable. but i do agree on some levels... it looks like it can do some serious damage haha but from a more close distance which might be its flaw
@shakensparco A tank with a 200mm main gun and a Vehicle mounted Rail-Cannon; A weapon that fires projectiles at Mach 6 or 7.
They are SUPPOSED to be a one shot.
