its almost like he's saying... let's see who's gonna get the most sales, you from gta 5?! Or me from watch dogs!!
I like how they make it seem like this Grief-multiplayer is a good thing. Also they forgot to mention WHY, why should i care if someone hacks the phone in a single player game, its not like i cant turn the shit off and just go on.
Ha! McGee's a no-nonsense kinda guy. I can appreciate that.
I hate to admit it (especially as I kinda suck at it) but Ubisoft's 'hunter and the hunted' style of multiplayer gaming really is quite good, and offers a welcome variety from the usually free-for-alls.
This game looks really cool, but it is after AC4, NBA 2k4, and likely BF4 for me once I get the PS4. That is of course thinking I am done playing GTA V which I will likely not be of course.
Do they pay these guys to be this overly enthusiastic?
These recent gameplay demos have completely killed my interest in the game. It's just more of Ubisofts current trend of style over substance.
I'll be playing GTA for well over a year no doubt, why would I stop playing that absolute behemoth of a game to fiddle around with this for all of 20 minutes?
Hacking and 'random encounters' will get repetitive and dull, multiplayer is nowhere near what they teased us with and will no doubt be plagued with networking problems. Added to that the seemingly lack of anything else to do and complete lack of challenge, as is the case with the majority of Ubisoft games, turn this game from a 'must play' to a wait for serious price drop or 'complete edition' a year down the line.
Do we know the official name and/or pricing of this app yet? They said you need a uplay account and its free which since uplay accounts are also free they aren't implying you need to pay... right?
Basically do you need money for it or not?
It actually surprise me that the mp mode is this simple. When the game is announced, I thought this is gonna be a full blown mp focused game where 64 players can jump in the city and have pvp with many hacking elements. It doesn't look to have any sp campaign potential
I dunno, I STILL think GTAV will smoke this game out the water. Something about watchdog's open world that doesn't seem like open world... =(
I'll be keeping myself busy with GTAV when it comes out this month until Watch Dogs comes out oh yeah
Does anyone know, will it be AssCreed style multi with very small maps and horrendous border images and stuff? I always liked the idea of the AC multiplayer, but the small maps and limited character models were SO disappointing.
@SecondHorseman right need this.
@paranjapesameer It looks more like Assassin's Creed than Assassin's Creed IV itself lol.
@paranjapesameer Exactly what I was thinking.
@Vozlov says lack of challange and plays gta all year long. this is the player mind that i dont want to play with. really.
@JDFS destroy GTAV? didn´t know it was a war. so will Watch Dogs come and bomb Rockstars office or how will it destroy GTA?
But i think your setting yourself up for a major disappointment if you think that this will live up to the hype and even beat GTA V in sales.
Also even GTA IV has sold almost 30million copies.
@JDFS Sarcasm, right?
@JDFS Why are we comparing GTAV to a gimmick! GTA has always been a world on its own, the characters, the story, the freedom... the activities!!!!
This won't live up to GTA5. I agree with reborn007, something is fishy about this game, it will be great fun I am sure but on an epic scale of GTA5 I really dout that.
@JDFS -_- never...i'm really certain this game will be like the first AC cool at first then you realize you are just doing the same few activities over and over and over and over until the game ends...and multi-player sounds like something just thrown into the game so they can say they have it
@CruiserCaptain No this is different. A random player will invade your singleplayer and you will have to catch him, dont know how limited will the map be though.
@3zozoNov 19, 2013
@Nighteg screw that i love multiplayer!!, BRING ON THE MULTIPLAYER!!
@arqe @Vozlov Sorry I forget gamers these days despise games that actually challenge them. Why bother with a challenge when you can spend £40 to feel like an unbeatable bad ass with the press of a button. But hell, at least I can ****ing spell challenge.
Also, just because I will be playing GTA for over a year doesn't mean It's all I'll be doing or playing all year long.
Your the player mind that is literally destroying the market, bottlenecking any form of innovation for the sake of you feeling 'cool' and 'badass', no doubt due to your crippling lack of any form of similar feeling in real life. On account of course of you being a loser.
