I really .... wowed in 9:29 seriously had to wow with an MMORPG that much since i first played WoW beta... Its outstanding
Really looking forward to this. Everything else seems to be a placeholder for this. No monthly fee is a massive, massive, massive plus. I have no problem with buying expansions as a way of keeping the game going.
@toystoryfan..Ever since getting my gaming laptop I rarely use the desktop to play games. Go for one of the Asus republic of gamers laptops. I use the Asus GV51 and it is awesome and for the fraction of the price of some of other big name laptops. Plus there are some good deals on ebay and amazon.
This looks really cool. I'm definitely gonna pick this game up. Heck, this game might finally convince me to get a desktop and get more seriously into PC gaming.
@toystoryfan Don't go Alienware, they're always overpriced to extreme levels. I'd go with a PC too though, you can get something beastly for about a third the price of a good laptop. But yeah, this game, just... It's beautiful, and the gameplay looks at least a step up from most MMOs. I wish they'd show proper gameplay of a melee-er, I find a big problem with most MMOs - and one of the only things WoW actually did right - was melee combat feeling very solid and weighted. I hope GW2 pulls that off because it's my only worry left.
I am dying.. dying. the graphics. the game mechanics. the music. the classes. the game!! @toystoryfan if youve got the money and like the portability then for sure get the laptop. they are really a stand alone computer. but i personally prefer a desktop. better monitor better hardware for cheaper too.
i cant wait until i get my own laptop to play this game when i comes out, im thinking to get those alienware laptops. What do u guys think i should get? please leave me a comment, im having trouble deciding.
OMG everything about this game is freaking awesome can't wait for the release!! i been following this game for about a year now
This game is a welcome breath of fresh air in the MMO scene. Looks like it plays out more like Elder Scrolls than WoW. That alone makes it a day-one purchase for me. Bravo, ArenaNet, bravo!
This is looking great. Considering the disgracefully terribad state of the MMO scene right now, this is a definite buy. Even if it turns out to be mediocre, at least it looks great. :p
The cut scenes look good, but could be incorporate your surroundings, it makes it look like your somewhere else and not in the hospital. This game looks awesome, cant wait
Adding skills to bosses at higher levels etc is actually a very good way to scale battles. I think that should be aplied elsewhere, too.
@sikozushanu Universal resurrection was featured in the first Guild Wars too, and I'm glad it's sticking around for this one. And I never felt pigeon holed thanks to the dual classes.
Love that they are diluting the lines between classes some with universal resurrection abilities. (And hopefully other things.) It will be nice not to be so completely pigeon holed by my class selection. Of course, everything else about this game appears amazing as well... I think I will require an extended vacation upon its release. ;)
Game looks very promising...some of the voice acting not so much. Also the look of that ele in the cut scenes makes me lol.
It definately looks more like an MMO than GW1 did, except its really pretty. I want it. Now. Cant wait!
