GTA IV: iCEnchancer 3.0 Mod - Graphics Comparison
The sun is out in Liberty City! Check out the differences in GTA IV when the iCEnhancer 3.0 mod is thrown into the picture.
Just check these screenshots out:

This video doesn't really do graphics modifications justice. There's plenty of better GTA4 graphical mod videos around.
I still play this game. Trying to complete my 3rd play through before GTA V arrives. Oh, and I'll take the original any day.
Yeah... This is totally not doing it justice. First of all it works best with the texture mods, which you aren't using. And second, the mod on it's own looks much better than this for me, and in all the other videos you can find. This video is basically saying hey the mod is useless, which is not fair.
No Road textures pack, Liberty City Textures volume, natural and realistic vegetation mod ? If not then this video is joke to me. Btw patch 18.104.22.168 is friendly for most mods. I still didn't use iCEnchancer 3.0, so far my favorite GTAIV mod is Danvsw ENB mod.
i was excited...until i remembered it used Games for Windows Live, which does not work for me anymore....Uninstalled
Is this mod properly installed? Because there are other videos on youtube where it looks WAY better than this and without that explosion bug. When I saw the Shawn Method for this I felt the same, it really feels like it isn't installed correctly.
Also, for the people complaining on how this looks. This mod is just the way it's author likes to play the game, it was never supposed to look realistic. The author is actually a really talented technical artist working on 3D engines.
Watching this video reminds me of how bad the driving was in gta 4. Thats why I prefer Iron man mod for traveling in Liberty city.
I like the modded version. Really removes the dark and gritty version of the original liberty city.
(Also I saw photorealistic graphics for gta 4. were they using different mods?)
Doesn't do a great job of highlighting the differences.
While I don't use it myself, I've seen this mod (properly configured) running on a friend's PC, and I was definitely impressed. Not so much with this video. But you *do* have to be a special kind of dense to think this is just a brightness setting.
To all the ret@rds who think it's just a brightness improvement, let me tell your tiny stupid brains that these videos are highly compressed, you cannot possibly see the advanced graphical stuff through them. I'm not just talking about this comparison either, pretty much all previous comparisons fail to show the true difference. TLOU remastered looks a lot better than the comparison makes it looks like, similarly that's the same case here...
This mod is really good, if you actually try it out on your PC (if you have a high-end one, that is) then you'll see that this game with this mod looks much better than the retail version of Watch Dogs. It's only the modded Watch Dogs which beats this.
Sick. I found it funny how one of the modded clips did that clipping through bridge glitch where everything goes brown for a sec.
It's not just brightness setting. There's a clear field of view difference, more accurate day/night settings. That night actually looks like night. Also, excellent solution to jaggyness, such as that one clip of the yellow lambo. I prefer colour over everything being grey.
That being said, can't wait for GTA V on PC.
It's nice, but it's too performance costly for the minor upgrades. Good idea to get the textures though.
this mod is trash.
you can easily achieve this by simply raising brightness and color in your monitor.
For simple goofing off like GTA IV instead of V. I like creating chaos in Times Square. Los Santos doesn't really have anything like that.
I prefer the more colorful unrealistic graphics, more games are looking grey as they try and make them realistic!
It's funny how with the exception of a few daylight clips the mod makes everything less photorealistic and more plastic looking which is what I guess PC gamers are accustomed to.
There's some nice changes, but a few bad ones and glaring issues that make the modded version look a bit iffy. The rocket explosion looked terrible in the mod, the rear lights (possibly the front lights too) need some work, look like stickers with everything else enhanced, lol.
Could just be me, but the lighting during the day looked a bit naff as well, though upscaled shadow maps definately were a nice touch, could also do with adding a bit of shadow decay, make them less solid.
Indoors at the start looked pretty good with the depth of field.
@-Unreal- Sources, i need sources... :D
@TERMINATOR-SSD install xliveless and use an offline profile for saves if you have to
@JohnyMyko Yeah, I like the color scheme of the mod. I thought that the vanilla look was a bit too gloomy at times.
@Vatusus GTA5 on last gen consoles looks better than watchdogs so.....
@Vatusus It is, read my comment above. And stop being a ret@rd peasant if you can...
@mi_hung_lo I know right? Had to throw that in there.
@CWhidmore yeah the mod isn't that good....
@KillzoneSnake It's the most recent game released on PC that's worth playing
@KillzoneSnake As opposed to console gamers whose discs disintegrate when they complete the game?
@shadow580 Yep! Hope you have good quad core processor, you can be fine with high end dual core processor but you would probably get less FPS(27- 31). RAM 4GB is enough for this mod, but I would recommend 8GB. For more details read description. :)
You guys are funny.
There's nothing on console right now except remastered versions of previously released games...that already look a run better on PC.
@everson_rm @pongley @KillzoneSnake
Yeah. Good thing that for the price of consol you can get a decent pc that actually runs 60 fps with better graphics or at least 30 with full hd not upscaling ;*
@vanvir1 I have a good pc, just dont game on it!
