Red Dead Assassin's Creed anyone... set pre-American Civil War(Hell even during the Civil War)

The assassins lore goes back to Perisa, so I'd like to see a setting back there with more primitive equipment.  It may be a bit too close a brush against Prince of Persia for Ubisoft to stomach, but I generally like origin stories.  I won't like the story as much if they take just any period of history that they like and throw an assassins story into the grey areas of records of the time.  It may be interesting how they squeezed it all in, but I prefer a closer sticking to the lore.

I skipped Assassin's Creed III but I did really enjoy IV. My main gripe with it to be honest was that the free running is very slow when they remove buildings and add trees. It just doesn't work as well.

But part of me wonders how they could ever have such an era where there were close packing buildings like in the first and second Assassin's Creeds that hadn't really been done before.

Not sure.

The price drop on Xbox One is very tempting right now. Especially the Gamestop one where they cut it a further £30 and bundled Titanfall at the same time.

I would have bought an Xbox One at full price given a good game, but I must admit it would have taken a while for the £100 Kinect to feel insignificant. £70 Kinect is better, a £40 Kinect is almost none-existent really.

But it seems they are out of stock already.

Wouldn't buy an Xbox One even if they dropped the price to £200, the amount of extras and add ons you have to buy for it and then the price of the games ... I'd rather keep my money in my bank account thanks Microsoft.

Any significant price cuts will most likely take place just before the Holidays (thanksgiving).  If you can wait that long then more power to ya!

I read that as "It's up the individual developers to go above and beyond for our particular platform just so it can compete with the other platforms".

Yeah... um... no... I don't think they enjoy wasting dev time on workarounds to get 1080p/60fps working when it already works on other platforms with much less coding effort.

NO! the price need to come up!

Quantum Break and Titanfall for the PC my case.

Also - I would like to see Assassin's Creed in Biblical times: Perhaps King David/Saul lineage.

Also would be interesting to see AC in early Roman  or Greek time.

Here's a thought that occurred to me:
Wouldn't it be cool if at the end of AC3 the would would have actually been destroyed, and that would be followed up with a post-apocalyptic AC game, as Desmond?
That would have been so totally awesome. And the post-apocalypse would totally account for the use of knives and swords and shit instead of guns as a modren assassin. They should have done that.

I would like to see AC5 set in WW2 Europe. you can have the protagonist be a paratrooper who gets miss dropped during D-day who meats members of the French resistance which has members that are assassins. The templars would likely be sided with the Nazis, both searching for lost holy items and trying to use advanced technology to further there goal. it could write it self with great historical events to draw from and amazing war torn landscapes to traverse.

My guess is ACV will be set in Victorian England. Why? Well, because I said so.

And, as usual, Jess, I want your shirt.

That Xbox One Titanfall bundle is horrible.

There is no theme to the console or even the controller. There is a Titanfall controller which can be brought separately but you don't even get it with the 'Titanfall bundle' and a digital download of the game, I wish that it was at least a retail copy..

Highly disappointed Microsoft!

If the  £300 pounds sterling (UK) were changed to $300 US dollars that would be great.  I'd go buy one.

In the USA, they A/1 for Blu-ray players and the UK uses B/2 for Blu-ray region coding for discs.  That's IF they use region coding for the Blu-ray discs for movies and games.

I wonder if buying a UK Xbox One (from Amazon.co.uk)  would work with US Blu-ray discs.  I doubt they would, but it would be nice if they did.

I speculate someone could use a UK Xbox and buy games from the UK in the USA and elsewhere.

I wonder if you would get the same support (patches & DLC) using a UK Xbox and buying your games from the UK in American as you would if you were in the UK--just a thought.

Assassin's Creed:  After ACIII, I wrote a review on Amazon stating they should dump the series and make more Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six games.  For the next setting, how about London, UK or Transilvania ala Vlad the Impaler.

The Lobby sound like a good show.  The game developers like the creator of Fez can bitch at all the nit-picky nit-wit gamers who wine and complain too much.  I would have a good laugh.

lower price required for me to pick one up, ps4 still looks like a better deal but it doesnt matter as i dont have the money so il be sticking with my 360 for a while longer.AC the other pryamid lot, the Mians (if that is spelt correctly) would be interesting, japanese sounded interesting hopefully theyl pick something to get me back into the series

I was really hoping for an Assassin's Creed game set in Japan, but hopefully Ubisoft will consider this idea for future games.

Sorry for the dumb question, but will The Lobby be streamed only on GameSpot?

I would hate Ubisoft for making the next entry set in ancient Egypt. It has to be in France during French Revolution. It just has to.

Still not low enough, Microsoft. When it costs less than the competing console that is obviously more powerful, then I'll think about it.

I've already tried putting foreign movies in my X1.

@LordCrash88 I agree, I think that ancient Egypt isn't well suited for an AC game, there weren't too many tall structures back then, unless you count the pyramids and obelisks of course, and the desert is a pretty boring place. On the other hand, France seems like a very obvious choice.

@TheEternalGamer On paper PS4 is more powerful but i have yet to see any videos that shows a power gap between PS4 amd Xbox One

Thank you very much.  I know they release games in Europe and Australia that don't get released in the USA.

I loved Crash Time and Crash Time II (Autobaun Poleizi) but Crash Time III was only release in Europe and not compatible with US Xbox 360, unless you get a PAL Xbox 360 from Europe--other games too.

Thank you for your feedback.

@Zombie97 @LordCrash88 And you could still visit Egypt during one of Napoeaon's expeditions... ;)

The time and setting is even huge enough to offer more than one single game. It's suited for a trilogy, just like AC2. :)
