I've owned an Xbox 360 since about a month after it launched (it was hard to get one at first), and have never owned a Playstation of any type. However, if the always-online requirement stays, I will be leaving for PS4. Always-online would mean you can't refuse to patch a game (even if the patch makes the game even more buggy or in my opinion somehow worse). It also means that they can disallow "used" games, including loaning a disc to a friend when you're done playing it. I don't want to pay for a Kinect I'll never use. I don't want the "Kinect must be turned on and configured properly" to run any game, meaning MS can watch everything I do while playing and feed me Coca-Cola ads in-game when it sees me drinking Mt Dew, etc.
Finally we'll be able to get rid of the rumors and look at the facts on may 21st, but MS DID say in a previous article, which is about 2-3 weeks old, that the always-online thing is true
@Barazon ahhh i said the same thing when i found that downloaded games could only b played on-line on the 360a couple years ago. guess what i did.....
