This new Popular Videos thing on the right side totally messes up how I browse Gamespot, that is using 2 windows, letting one overlap the other such that I can still see the video.  I realize this won't affect most people :), but anyway.

Plus if you have the code for Mario Kart 8 you get a free game. I downloaded Legend of Zelda : Windwalker

To put it simple: Mario Kart 8 is a superb entry to the Action-Racer-Genre(a genre which is almost extinct). Every person interested in amazing to play video games, should have this game.

It's kinda sad to see the Wii-U having trouble to get sold - although it actually offers a surprinsingly convinient and fresh gamepad, a great and unique selection of exclusives, along with third-party games like Resident Evil, Assassins Creed, Batman or Tekken.

In addition to that, I was surprised about the high quality of the GBA-games you can buy via the E-Shop, as I haven't played games on the GBA before. F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, Metroid Fusion and Advanced Wars are fucking amazing!

So their sales went from 1 a month to 6?

All joking aside Id still get a Wii U over the other 2. but..PC.

I started by playing NES, I love nintendo but the Wii U needs to go the same way the Virtual Boy did. Nintendo needs to start from step one and get it right this time.

Hopefully the E3 event has some good games announced to keep the momentum going

@Death_Masta187 Actually you math is wrong.  1 * ( 1 + 0.3)=1.3  <=  30 % increase

1*(1+6) =7    <= 600% increase. L2CALC!!!

I think you are probably close to the truth there.

@Eternal_Phoenix So a highly functional, userfriendly and durable system(my new XBox One has quite some teething problems, compared to my Wii-U) with many amazing and unique to play games, and a fresh and convenient way to control them, should die?

Are you high or something?

@DWalker131 @warfen New Super Mario Bros U only requires around 1,7 gb of free space. So the 8gb will suffice. If you are planning to download more games in the future, then you will need an external hdd

@hochstreck @Eternal_Phoenix Please define "many".  As i cant see any unique games on the Wii U.  Not saying the games are bad or anything mario, luigi, mario kart, all very very good games but unique and a fresh and convenient way to control them?   No.

@5SI-GonePostal

You have to be kidding me, right?

How about Nintendo Land, Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, Super Mario 3D World, New Super Mario Bros 2, Lego City Undercover, Zelda: Windwalker and now Mario Kart 8, some E-Shop- and Wii-Games like Advanced Wars, for starters?

And in case you think some of these games aren't unique: Just show me one other company, which produces as direct, creative, polished and elaborate 3D-Jump'n Runs, 2D-Jump'n Runs, Action-Stategy-Games, Action-Adventures, Action-Racing-Games - which are often even combined with amazing multiplayer - as Super Mario 3D World, New Super Mario Bros 2, Pikmin 3, Windwalker and Mario Kart. As Nintendo is pretty much the last major company producing these type of games, you will not find things like them on any other plattform.

Have you even used a Wii-U-Gamepad to see how intuitive and effective all kinds of secondary information like menues, maps and so on, can be viewed and controlled with it? Have you played Nintendo Land - in order to see how cool and intuitive multiplayer can be, when created especially for the Wii-U-Gamepad?

Beside that, I really find the presentation of Nintendo-Games refreshing and uniqe these days, as modern day Video Games are mostly dominated by gritty colours, glorification of violence and war, pseudo-realism and corny orchestra-scores(which seriously lack taste and recognition value).

@5SI-GonePostal @hochstreck @Eternal_Phoenix Shows how ignorant,narrow-minded and totally clueless you are. Wonderful 101 is the most unique game out there with its brilliant,challenging gameplay that makes perfect use of the gamepad and has some of the most hilarious dialogues and characters Ive seen in a game and offers amazing replayability. Miiverse is the best thing Ive seen to stay in contact with other people who play and love the same games as you, MK8 online is flawless,never lags like the overated PSN and is totally free. The gamepad allows me to even play outisde by simply plugging the Wii U in the wall-plug on the balcony without even being wired to a TV and enjoy my console games wherever I want. MK8, SSB Brawl with Project M, SM3DW,DKC:TF,W101 and VC masterpieces like Super Metroid, Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga (Turn-based RPG), Unepic, Advance Wars  SHlT on whatever the F has been released on your overhyped Piece of SHlT 4/Shltbox one so far.
