GS News Top 5 - The Five Biggest Things To Come Out Of E3 2014!
Jess gives you the lowdown on YOUR picks for the most awesome announcements from this year’s expo! Let us know what was your favourite moment!
30fps as a design decision for artistic reasons. Ha ha ha ha ha ha. As a software developer, I too have been guilty of trying to justify a product deficiency as a feature a time or two myself.
No mention of MGSV... Really? And GTA V won't be 60fps either I'm sure. I think every single developer who isn't developing a game with 60fps near the top of the list of priorities should cancel it.
Phil Fish is not making any sense. IT IS DEFINITELY NOT THE SAME! First off, people do not buy games just to watch others play it! That isn't fun at all! They watch it to see if it looks fun and judge for themselves if it looks like a worthy purchase. Imagine if someone posted a video on youtube where they play Monopoly and then Milton Bradley were to say that they owe them money for copyright infringement. That would be absurd! It is time for Phil Fish to grow up and stop complaining lik a spoiled little child!!!
Im not sure if a heard what she said, she just keeps hypnotizing me...she got a special beauty definitely....
Pretty blah E3 for me. Most of the games I'm interested in didn't show up. Some that did got almost no press coverage because, honestly, they didn't show much that we didn't already know (Lichdom and Civ: Beyond Earth). VR was the most interesting thing but the medium makes it rough to report on beyond having your editors put it on and go "Oh wow!" a lot.
P.S. That T-shirt... black text on a black background? Oh, I see, it's a statement against all those people who seem to think a video game has to be "dark" to be serious! Very clever! ;)
My favorite moment was Little Big Planet 3's announcement if only because it was a happy surprise. After that I'd pick the gameplay footage for Arkham Knight and Witcher 3, which both look like true next gen games.
Ugh! How the heck does bloodborne end up as #2? So many games look more interesting than this one - almost all of them lol. I'm so tired of infected/zombie games and movies and T.V. shows. What is the fascination with this genre? It seems like almost half the games that came out the last two years and coming out the next two years are all zombie type games. How many different ways can you kill a stupid zombie before you finally get bored of it?
The Last of Us had great graphics and a decent story but, the game play sucked beyond belief. I couldn't finish it. Neither could any of my kids. They just watched the story on YouTube.
Yeah I want to play The Witcher the most out of all the games, but I've been wanting to play it for months, same with the division. Some games just came out of nowhere though. Rainbow Six Siege looked really good. I always disliked those repetitive no real objective leet K/D ratio games, they tend to have terrible player community, it's usually those "MLG pro leet look at my headshots get rekt dude bros rage if I die"
I remember playing the old Rainbow Six, it was awesome. Creeping around a fortified hostage area, trying to figure out how to breach in, coordinating everything perfectly with your very careful and disciplined friends feels more satisfying that any kill streak.
1. Halo collection
2. The Witcher 3
4. Soul bound
5. Uncharted 4
My top 5 of E3, Halo with 100+ MP maps with MP for all 4 games+ the Halo 5 beta and a new Halo tv series easily puts it number 1 for me, best deal in video game history.
I know this is supposed to be about games, but holy cow, Jess needs to sack her stylist immediately, what the hell is she wearing?
I don't get these Japanese games like Zelda Ni No Kuni, where the characters are cutesy kids. I don't like playing games that seem designed for 12 year old girls. Don't get me wrong, Ni No Kuni was well made, but the vibe was creepy.
Top games of E3 (coming out any time soon):
1. Bayonetta 2
2. Sunset Overdrive
3. Captain Toad (Hooray!)
5. GTA 5 on next gen...
Life is sweeter than a date with Jess with these games coming out...
I've got to admin that Bloodborne is the first title that's gotten me remotely interested in any new console. Now I'm considering trading in my PS3.
Rainbow Six: Siege looks awesome!
@riccithedude Wow, a female. Never seen one of those before.
@Pewbert Did they say anything about their shitty jokes?
@bdrtfm Rant over.
@bdrtfm Bloodborne is being made by the guy who made some of the best games of last generation, Demon's Souls and Dark Souls. THAT's why people are hyped for this game.
@bdrtfm Zombies are to games as vampires are to teen movies.
Always nice to see someone else shares my appraisal of TLOU. If any other studio releases that game it gets a 6.5 and flies under the radar.
@timetotime Yeah, a lot of fail.
@_planet I know this is supposed to be about games,
but holy cow, Jess needs to sack her stylist immediately, what the hell is she wearing? < Should have kept this yourself then?
@_planet I happen to think she is just lovely... wait, Jess did you just create a new account, post this and wait? Damn you woman...
@dmblum1799 The cutscenes and dialogue is also usually very immature and never ending, that is what puts me off most JRPGs.
@dmblum1799 Japanese character designs can be weird sometime. Regal Bryant in Tales of Symphonia for exemple.
@makseffect At least she started to curl her hair. That Ringu look was unsettling.
@homelessgamer not enough 360 no scopes IMO
@diepoxide you are right but i still love her and want to marry her but she will say that I'm crazy)
@freedomzealot ha! best retort ever \:0/
