"Edward Snurrdern". n___n
On another note it's fantastic to have a reliable source for news I really care about. Keep up the good work!
"Edward Snurrdern". n___n
NSA manager: "I need your progress report for the week."
NSA surveillance officer: "Hold on, Illidan's almost dead, but our healer is total crap so we'll tag him as a terrorist after we're done."
I thought I knew something about the spying once, but then I saw a bright flash and can't even recall... what the hell are we talking about it again?
19 with a 4 year old son Hmmm ? A four year old would have problems with a hand held system or mobile phone maybe ? Never mind a Xbone ?? It`s for the son hmmmm well not judging (trying not too) ??? :)
This little tidbit of info about the NSA spying is proof that mass consumer paranoia surrounding the Kinect watching you in your home may not be too far off.
It's only a matter of time before the tech guru's working for the government figure out a way to piggy back your ISP's internet connection into your home network looking for the device attached to the Kinect and flip the switch on while you are sleeping.
I like to think that a hot looking gal in the NSA follows me on Xbox live every day. I would hate to let her down, I must spend more time in front of my Xbox. Yes! That's the excuse I'll use to play games more often. Lol
I wanna hear these McCarthyist pricks (maniacalpoet) claim the gov't ain't spying after this.
Just like the Patriot Act, this shit isn't catching terrorists; it's spying for gov't and big businesses. Plain and simple.
Back when I worked at the Fed Bldg in Seattle, they used Microsoft OSes on all their PCs. Not a big deal. But, when you consider a major corporation is handling alotta sensitive data...it looks like they're a bit chummy with the gov't.
The gov't could use a Linux* variant: easy to encrypt, harder to hack than Windows, and doesn't cost a dime. But, when you consider big businesses have been funding political campaigns since the 1980s... It's going to be a big business that handles all the data.
*France uses Linux for their military software. China uses Linux for their educational system. roughly 60% of online servers use Linux because it doesn't hog up resources. Amazon recently began using Linux because of increased data traffic.
Oh sure, it's "for his 4-year-old son". Riiiiiight. Either that's the story he needed to tell to get enough sympathy for a free XB1, or the story he had to tell his wife to not get pummeled for shelling out $700+ for a $500 console.
Hey bro you still need that cocaine? Alright, lets meet up on WoW to set up a meeting spot...... Hurray for smart organized crime!
19 year olds - 4 year old son, 19 year olds - 4 year old son....
just hearing that come from Jess and repeating it aloud makes me laugh
Amulet of Wisdom +4 Intellect, Passive Effect: Charismatic Aura. You have a 95% chance of persuading male humanoids to join your party. =p
Great show today. Jess makes me crazy with her; I can only describe it as "cutieness."
Jess McDonnell was one of the original members of "Pale Force" but she was cut before its debut because Jim Gaffigan and Conan O'Brien had a falling out with her over artistic direction. True Story.
On the NSA thing: Never saw it coming. I'm shocked. SHOCKED, I tell you!
I think Jess's broadcasting ability has finally reached "pro" status. If I were in charge of Gamespot's payroll, I would make sure she received top dollar for her contributions to this website/genre. You GO, girl.
To all the new comers - if you think Jess's jokes are lame, believe me they are so much better now. I've been watching her show since she was failing at making funny jokes!
Good job Jess and fuck you NSA!
Kyle, you're thinking of Zynga. Microsoft have even said that they thought the government accessing data is no better then hackers doing it, and they were against it.
The guy who gave that idiot an Xbone looks furious that he has to do it. Look at his face, then look at the smug face of that 19 year old boy.
Dying Light, I like the verticality aspect only because I often imagine using it as a way to avoid zombies in a real life situation, minus the parkour style though. That's about all I like though, just the idea of making bridges and staying off ground level out of the reach of zombies. I don't really like the parkour and stuff like zombies getting stronger at night.
However, it still might be fun. Dead Rising 3 is ridiculous but I am having fun with it. The problem with Dying Light is it feels like they want to pretend it's realistic in many ways, while DR3 doesn't.
Yep, a fanboy with both consoles. Now run along and let the big people talk about how things really are.
NSA agents just wanted to play games while getting paid. I wonder if there are any open positions...
@CraZkid37 The news you heard was not about spying. It was that everything is ok and you are being watched after. Move along.
@jflkdjs That's random!
@nate1222 Uh oh we got one that can see, you kinda sound like a terrorist. Quick this guy still has cognitive functionality we have to do something America, otherwise his ability might spread and there will be more of this kind of smart talk... Calm down sir you need to take this prescription in order to see things more "clearly". We'd hate to have to resort to a "stronger" prescription.
@dirty_cup can we have just one episode of daily news without someone making these weird kind of comments to Jess. Yes, I know these mysterious people called girls don't stroll around your corner of the basement too often but trust me they do exist.
@Christoffer112 Its okay, I just hate the new layout of GS.
@Christoffer112 It's not that bad, but IGN is destroying Gamespot these days.
@neonblueshadow or you value your privacy, what is wrong with people, them watching you isnt ok i dont care what you think
Hey man, when they were really lame is when they were good. The early jokes made me laugh for reals and I can't remember the last time I laughed at something that wasn't said by my friends. Which is kind of sad when I say it out loud.
@tansei@Christoffer112 What are you talking about? GameSpot has the best shows, friendliest staff and they report the most accurate news, I feel that the site is improving every year. Don't get me wrong, IGN, GameTrailers and other gaming websites are very good, but GameSpot seems to care about their viewers more than any other site and their approach is more personal, where else can you chat to the news presenter about random stuff :D And ALL of their shows are really entertaining. If you prefer IGN, that's fine, I like their videos as well, but you have to agree that GameSpot is doing an excellent job :)
@maniacalpoet Please investigate Tom McShea. Anything to get him to stop reviewing video games.
