When Sony say "not interested" they mean they will enter a contract with the dev to give help with the game development, help promote the game with advertising or maybe even reduce the licence fee to publish on the PS4, they will NOT pay a huge corrupt bribe to the 3rd party dev in order to make the game an exclusive like MS do. Big moral difference.

Slow down there buddy GTA resolution will be the same both PS4 and XB1 will run in 1080p 30fps except I believe the XB1 version colors will be a bit more vibrant but in case your wondering I'm getting the XB1 version where I'll definitely have the best controller lol

The Final Fantasy decision has nothing to do with Sony. No money would have been paid by Sony to deny the game on the other platforms. It's a commercial decision by Square-Enix.

Final Fantasy is a *** RPG so the market is pretty predictable. The majority of the user base will be in Japan and they will have a Sony console because the Nintendo won't be powerful enough to run it and xbox struggles in Japan. Western *** RPG fans are mostly on Playstation anyway, so Square-Enix would be basing their decision purely on where they can sell the game and make money. The game will go to where the majority of players are.

That is totally different to the Tomb Raider scandal where the majority of the fans are on Playstation and PC, but MS paid a corrupt bribe to Square-Enix in order to deny the game on Playstation and PC. That was an unforgivable betrayal and had no relation to the size of the market wanting the game. The bribe was a compensation for the lost sales that should have gone to the fans. MS and Square-Enix crossed a moral line on that one and will pay dearly.

@ExoticCharm 11 is on 360. I think the reason 7 8 9 and 10 aren't on anything but PC and PS is because Squeenix is flat out dumb. They said earlier this year if FF8 sells well on PC (again) they'll consider more FF ports. We did get FF3, but the remake version. So they may bring FF13 collection but idk about X X2 and 12.

Also because all of those games predate the merger of Squaresoft and Enix, you know back when they were separate respectable companies.

You'll be buying again unless your planning on playing some trash like Sunset overdrive or AC Unity to fill the void lol

A cynical comment is not humour so why are you laughing. GTAV is one of the best games ever made. It was obviously wasted on you and went straight over your head.

@bdrtfm @Jasper_73 @dirtydishes23 Ive seen this quite a bit. where a game is only being advertised as being on ps4 to find out later that actually that some of those are in fact being released on both systems. Funny I cant think what games they are now. but silent hills at this moment has no mention what so ever about a release on any other platform. but what ever they are both as bad as each other and exclusivity only hurts the consumers.

@Jasper_73 no. no it isn't. hideo no longer makes exclusives. silent hill has been multiplat for a while now. hideo's last exclusive was MGS4. the only metal gear not to appear on xbox.
