I will stay with my 360 and I will eventually get a Xbox ONE. Because I would like to play Forza 5, DeadRising 3, Ryse, TitanFall , Halo 5 and end the rest of the exclusives that are coming out for it. Oh I almost forgot Quantum Break as well.
It should now and for ever be known as "The Xbox One+80"! still my console of choice. I think some of the changes make it a better console for the consumer. But that is just MHO!!
People were praising for the xbox 720 during the time the xbox One wasn't announced, but they would soon find themselves with a xbox 180 instead.
Witcher 3 is wicked sick! It is just fantastic!
GTA V and XBOX1 is making news as usual, but its is becoming to frequent nowadays.
PS4 TV is ok. Maybe they can add that to the bundle: PS4 + VITA + Sony TV. :D
CoD:Ghosts is just making a nice progress in the news. Hopefully, they retain their Humans vs Bots ala CS on offline/LAN. Miss those :DDDDD
And Jess, you are just amazingly gorgeous on this episode. You are doing a great job out there, so keep up the good work! :D
It's obviously good Microsoft changed everything..... but they messed up and lost peoples trust... it's ganna be hard to regain all their fans
Every time Microsoft changes something it just adds a 1-up to the PS4. Sony has not had to change anything with their new console because they had it right from the get-go. At this point Microsoft is no longer releasing the console we all saw them introduce at their press conference.
Microsoft shouldn't of changed anything if u can afford a the system u can afford internet if u cant afford internet u don't need to be buying a new system
Part of me is happy with the no DRM, No Kinect (because let's face it the thing was crap on the 360) policies but once those are gone I can't help but feel we are left with a console that's just a more expensive ps4 with a bit less power.
It seems the live service which made the 360 so popular is likely to be no better then the psn now and with the dualshock getting such a huge overhaul the difference in controllers will likely be nowhere near as large as it was for the last generation.
I loved the 360 and I think it's a true gem of a console but I went ps3 last gen for the exclusives (because let's face it I buy a console to play great games) and by the looks of the software lineup and features on offer will be going for a ps4 with a pc (with xbone controller) for games like Titanfall.
It's just such a pity MS didn't create some real competition for Sony next gen. I feel consumers can only win when all the consoles have to compete with each other for our dollar.
Ok heres the problem .. i won't watch news posts that Jess isnt' hosting, but when she hosts ... i only come to see how hot she is and whats she's wearing and have no idea what she talked about .... so which is better for the site?
HEY! you already wore that shirt -.-
but yeah looks like there's no helm over at microsoft and they keep changing things its tough to say that this console wasnt intended to be revolutionary just a money maker
@JessMcDonnell - Its funny how the first thing you do when you start speaking is separate your hands then bring them back together...Every time! haha :D
I don't trust Microscam since the Star wars Kinect video they showed at a conference of theirs, bringing actors to copy the moves of a CG video...
or that time at E3 2011 before Kinect joyride released, they brought some actors (again!) and said that you can accelerate by lowering your right foot and brake by the other...
This isn't the video of it, but i thought it would be funny
Watch this :
@hardcoreicon Hell yes she is
@aimonjarrod gta is on the 360 and PS3
@evoloner The way I see it, despite all their backtracks and everything to make it more friendly, they're still pushing the Kinect without even trying to convince anyone it's worth it. If you tell me the next Kinect isn't just a fancy paperweight like the first one, then yeah i think the Xbox One will turn out to be a decent console. Until then...it's just like the PS4 in terms of power but it's $100 more expensive.
@uglypinkmoose I was on Xbox bc of Halo, but Microsoft lost my trust then as well. 343 doesn't have the competency or creative chops yet *that* team was assembled and handed a blank check!? When they made THAT horrendously designed story and gameplay mess plus I could see Mammoth + Mantis design + giant brute concept art would equal GIANT in Halo 5... and then sure enough: the Halo 5 reveal trailer. Ugh. >:(! And the missing content??! It was just such a cash-grab.
All this other hardware policy mess of theirs was just pouring cement on the "Xbox-fan" grave for me. Just my 2 cents. For a lot of people it goes A LOT further than just the policy crap.
EDIT: Can't wait to see if they 180 on that now (Halo) considering the <25K peak population currently and even pros like Gandhi jumping ship now... But yeah, they infuriated me *twice*.
@malificus1 Adding multiplayer online fee and now adding Viacom TV/Cable channels aren't changes? Sony copied Nintendo and Microsoft more then any other company who has created a game console.
@gamefeind And if you can afford the internet, you can afford my used toilet paper that I'm selling for $5. Does that mean you should buy it?
@gamefeind the two have nothing to do with each other directly. and not at all part of the conversation but im going to assume that that rock youve recently climbed out from under has left you both lacking of sight and of your other senses and youre just re-orienting yourself currently. so my apologies.
@DeclanEire I'm gesturing my points =]
@scraper2k In future you can buy games at cheap deals
@CuteFreak i want you baldy
@RockingSt4r maybe some spanking on your cool ass would be better.... dont worry i would mod it for you
@sgt_F79 who would have thought a Jedi could make a good choreographer?!
@sgt_F79 Geez that was hilarious. I like how even that one car conveniently rammed him at the end and contributed to gaining some momentum to grab 3rd place.
@blackace Personally, the added online multiplayer fee really got me to actually look at PSN+ (never paid attention to it prior, too busy enjoying "free") and I quickly realized all I had missed out on because I was too busy with XBL and getting 20 MS pts for my b-day. Now I'm excited about getting Outlast (LOVE horror games) and Secret Ponchos for free. I ALREADY wanted those games! And all of the other games I'll be getting??? Did me a favor actually.
And the tv thing is just an addition. It's not like they *reversed* anything. That's really what the point of contention is, not just "changes" per se.
And you want to talk about copying?? I'd rather deal with Sony's copying than have my favorite game raped because orders came from the top to blatantly copy Call of Duty. WAY weaker than anything Sony did.
@blackace Sony has right to do but others dont. You still dont get it ? Cmon blackface. Its their world. ( capital S )
@CheckeredPecker It meant "what" as in you wen't on a huge rant over such a simple comment lol.... I understand what your saying and I'm sorry you feel that way
@uglypinkmoose @CheckeredPecker If by "wot" you meant "way off topic" then I call foul. I thought you'd make the connection that I was highlighting their missteps with their "fans" extend much farther than simply the hardware debacle. I figured I wouldn't have to spell it out specifically, but if I have to...
Halo 4 is another (preceding the XBone debacle) example of Microsoft's INCREDIBLE incompetency for knowing how to gather the proper talent and build a product with the intangibles people desire. Stubbornly pursuing Kinect is another (you'll see). You have to consider VERY fine details when building every aspect of these things pertaining to video games. Trust me, there's a double-edge that no one is considering with the XB1, one MS and their fans will be experiencing shortly after launch depending on developer competency (which is evidently lacking far too often).
Winning back the fans only happens when you know what you're doing. I was and again am, expressing my enormous lack of faith in Microsoft's competency to do so effectively (on topic).
