The Sims 4’s hilarious day-one patch fixes Grim Reaper dating, GTA V on PC rumors are clarified, and Bungie says you’ll need walkthroughs for Destiny!

Sounds like my son will have to play with the volume off. DS2 hyped its difficulty (lol it's not very hard), but lets pretend they're serious, it's going to be a difficult....FPS game. So what that means to my family is: 'Gonna be plenty of kids screaming racial slurs and bigoted insults through my television'.
I don't frown upon difficult games, but you can be sure that if some suit is telling you that his video game is difficult, he's probably talking out of his ass. If you raid in an MMO setting, you are obligated to look up strategies, be prepared to perform for the sake of not wasting everyone's evening with clueless play. This game is on consoles however, you know, like Xbox1 with it's window in window TV. I'm sure there are console players out there that aren't Dorito/Mt. Dew addled ADHD sufferers, but I have yet to meet one. Best of luck during your 'raids', playa!
EDIT: Oh yea, a walk-through is something you check out AFTER you beat the game and are curious as to what you missed (Unless it's an MMO in which case you should be prepared to the best of your abilities).
Iv never looked up a walk through for a shooter game ever....and im sure this is true for majority of players here......i do look up wikis for rpgs though......for material locations and spawns......if we have those here....for crrafting and such we might need a wiki.....chances of looking up a walkthrough in a game where you aim and shoot are pretty slim.
Avoid walkthrough as much as possible...will usually resort to it if Im still stuck after spending 2 hours the next day/next play. :P
P.T really is just a teaser, it's a very small demo with really creepy atmosphere and poop your pants sound design. It's kind of off putting to play in a way as it gets in your head. The game makes you do things which trigger the scares so you kind of feel toyed with at times. Unlike most "scarey" games, PT doesn't really have any gameplay. You just walk around and look at things. You are mostly walking through a corridor in a house, and when you reach the door at the end, you end up at the start of the same corridor except this time through something will be different and you have to figure out what. about two thirds through the game, it becomes really obnoxious as to what you need to do to make the corridor change (if it doesn't change you just keep walking through the same corridor, not advancing) to the point where even following a guide won't help all that much as there are no 100% surefire ways to trigger the last event. Instead of being this cool atmospheric game that it starts out to be, it ends up being boring and tiresome to continue. <3
Must say though, that for a free download, P.T offers a decent experience that won't take that long to finish if you persevere.
Ok so now it's WoW with guns. I loved the beta but sounds like WoW minus the 15$ month. Insanely hard raids that make everyone wipe over an over? Sounds frustrating an a lot of flying controllers.
Isn't it a bad thing, that to progress in a game you will need a guide? Reminds me of P.T. Was great until the game went all silly and didn't try to help you at all.
Great Show Jess. Thank You.
That is the most beautiful top. It looks great on you. It goes perfectly with your skin colour, hair and eyes. Beautiful.
Great. It's just good business. It you car about your customers or anyone else, you what them to get the most out of your product. You want them to be able to get past any stick point so they can enjoy their product to the fullest. That's what any descent minded person would do.
But that begs the question??? Why do many games have those 'impossible' head ache moments where it is tough just to get to A to B or accomplish some non-sense task so you can continue on with the game? What were they thinking?? Damn Them!!~!
Another day, another reason to be happy I cancelled my preorder of Destiny. If you build you game in a way most are pretty much forced to use a guide you did a horrible job!
Gamespot this is off topic feel free to remove it if you disagree with it but I need to say it.
At first I was annoyed that you weren't covering the whole Zoey Quinn/ethics in journalism clusterF#%@, I thought it was because you were trying to hide the collusion as well. I was wrong I just realized your Sony and Gawker media and their friends are Microsoft and this is E3 2013. You have watched them turn it into a small scale case of minor corruption, into them actively calling for the destruction of the group of people they are supposed to serve (Gamers) and demonizing them all to hide how corrupt their sites have become. Well Played. and I mean that Well Played. While I believe you could have capitalized more on this meltdown of games journalism by calling attention to their complete lack of ethics you now get to say you were simply not involved at all. Which should still net you a lot of their losses as gains.
I want to thank you personally for not censoring your comments on the couple of articles that even mentioned anything, and being one of the few gaming outlets left that can say that. I don't know how long those sites will go on hopefully not very long. The fact that they have been trying to bury for to weeks and have failed, gives me hope that them choosing their system of financial and sexual favors over their integrity, honesty, and indeed their readership, will not go unpunished. So thank you. I have given this site flack in the past especially Eddie, but you are giants among humankind compared to the majority of your competitors. Just to be clear I mean all that sincerely without irony or malice (towards you I obviously have malice towards people who demonize an entire subculture of people to protect their own collusion and fraud).
Get this out of the way.. Awww no Lucy? Nice top though.
1. Thank god I want to play GTAV again so badly since I gave my 360 to a friend and bonus for having my char in tact unlike D3 UEE.
2.So Raid finder and raid for difficulties. Got it.
3.Oh um... cool.
I prefer to read up. learning with a bunch of whiners is not my cup of tea.
I like using walkthroughs especially gamefaqs, I'm a semi completionest and like getting my money's worth and finding all the secrets is fun for me.
I've been looking up walkthroughs since I started playing World of Warcraft in 2007 so make my day bungie !!!! :P
Bungie are only letting Activisions COD fans know it is difficult for them for the rest off us who have played our DOOM and Halos and Half Lifes should be a walk in the park but for the COD Kiddies I don't recommend you take off the training wheels.
Maroon/purple is definitely your color.
Patches, we don't need no stinkin' patches! (Ok, maybe we do.) If they're there then I'll download them. Enough said... :)
It'll be interesting to see if the Destiny Raid "difficulty" is just marketing hype or if folks will need to study up. If it was Skyrim I'd be annoyed as it would break immersion. However considering Destiny's format who knows? We shall see what we shall see.
@Tuckpoint Your kids sound like winners!
@adam dude, it literally took me like 6 hours ..... finding those picture pieces and trying to get the phone 2 ring took AGES !!
@Maj_Wood You sad freak...
@adam So quick question whats the big draw to p.t? Just interested in hearing your opinion as I am a long time Silent Hill fan I just see a copy paste of recently released first person scare games which isnt really frightening to me.
@ArchoNils2 yes adding end content to a game or adding hard content that makes you struggle with a group of players to accomplish is a bad thing hmm..
@n0xinab0x You do why chocolate is a big hit with a lot of woman.
@evil_m3nace videogames reporter on a videogames website talking about videogames? MUST BE PAID ADVERTISEMENT.
Well if they create a game where you NEED a walkthrough it is bad. It is one thing if a game is hard but gives you a chance to learn and master it by yourself. It is a totally different thing if it is build to only work in some abstract way that onky a walkthrough can tell you. If this is anything like "duck at the wall and a tornado brings you to the next level" it is just a bad game.
Also this isn't the only stupid thing. Like releasing exclusive DLC with CoD, a skin you don't see in first person and something that contradicts the "we want you to have a cool story behind each item" stuff they said. No, they were just to lazy to implement trade or how is "I preordered CoD" a cool story?
@SaintsRowLA "You do why chocolate is a big hit with a lot of woman." What the in hell are you even going on about?
@freedomzealot @Zerabp Considering twelve games "Journalism" sites released basically the same article within hours of each other calling for the death of the term "Gamers" and it's culture and that Gamespot was not one of them I think it's okay to give them the benefit of the doubt. After all their sister site Giant Bomb, while not releasing an article itself did link to one of them, and talk about how it was worth reading and thinking about (hint none of them were). And they did allow actual discussion throughout the whole thing even if they were unwilling to address it themselves.
Thank you so much for the compliment spacecadet25. No there aren't any women all over me.
I'm not a ladies man. I don't consider myself one.
I'm an introvert. I keep to myself most of the time and just hold out for that one person who I am intrinsically and genuinely desire which is rare--I was like this long before I studied up on what introverts tend to be like. If I need to compliment a woman, I do it and I try to make a positive contribution to her life and then I go my way.
"A relationship or 'relationship' is about what you can give, not what you can receive or take."
I always have the woman's best interest at heart. I speak with her best interest in mind and make her feel most appreciated and loved. I do my best to make her life better.
Unfortunately for me that one most special person is. . .I think you know who she is.
