GS News - Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Uncharted 4 Details!
EA Access officially hits Xbox One, Naughty Dog want Uncharted 4 to be “more personal”, and we have all the multiplayer details for the new CoD!

Sorry to hear HoH got cancelled, never watched live but enjoyed the replay, hope nothing else got dropped.
I am not defending EA in the slightest, but a Madden demo seems kind of redundant to me anyway. Does it really change enough for people to want a demo. Surely it's one of those games you either like or don't like at this point and a demo isn't going to change your mind.
CoD SP is the only thing I'm interested in. Lost interest in the MP after MW1.
maybe it's just me but there really isn't anything fresh and new any more as far as online MP goes. Seems like those days have come and gone i.e. UT, quake, CS 1.3. those were the good days. now it's just cut and paste and yearly launches.
EA Having Demos Only in EA Access -- EA Loses Again
Only one console has EA Access.
Only the people who pay for EA Access will have access.
Customers and potential customers alienated and excluded.
And the resentment accumulates.
I prefer the female character. So I'll go with Laura Croft instead, unless Nathan has prominent women friends and relationships to complement the game.
Call of Duty
I only play for the single player campaign. I rarely make time to play on-line.
I think the single play looks appealing.
Thank you Jess.
The new CoD feels a lot like Titanfall but without the titans. As for their version of Levelution maybe they can call it Level-Changing Crapocity! Or LCC for short! LOL
CoD:AW has some similar features as other future shooters but its a new step for CoD. I'm thinking this one looks pretty good. I am especially interested in the new uplink mode. It's about time CTF gets a revamp, lol!
I really hope Uncharted 4 is much more like 2 as far as personal relationships go, that aspect was sorely lacking in 3 where the Drake/Sully bromance was the only serious character development we got. I also really hope they break away from the pattern where primary character X is dying, Drake braves superhuman/immortal foes to save them. The series has become too formulaic.
@SaintsRowLA Her name is Lara :) For some reason many people mispronounce and misspell it, I've always been puzzled by this. Lara is a short and simple name.
How about "Cool Crap" "Kool Krap" "Kool Krappe"
Was that you who made death threats to me under an alt account via private messaging?
-Or was that someone else? I'm not phased. In real life, you would perceive me as the good-natured person I am. The last sociopath that made threats to me in real life, regretted it.
@homelessgamer For what?
@Tranula We not only lose a great comedian, but also a fellow gamer.
@Tranula still can't process this news... so sad
@Tranula aww sh1t he was the best
@spartanx169x You might be on the "all" selection which seems to be sorting by most popular. Try selecting news which will populate articles chronologically and if you select videos it will do the same for videos/shows.
@RicanV i had some retorts to one of my comments, like 5 of them, just gone not on this one but anyway is GS really cracking down or what
@RicanV where is the fun in that? :D
Thank you Zombie97.
Lara, not Laura, but you know what I meant. No wonder why she doesn't like me ;)
It's a while since I've played the game.
LOL! You have a good sense of humor. You're a good guy.
Someone really did leave me nasty death threats. I laughed it off. The guy was pathetically hypocritical and cowardly.
@RicanV Very shocking, died from asphyxiation.
Seriously though like you said Laura is a much more common name over here, and being of high society, I think Lara does fit her character better, it sounds more exotic.
Laura, I believe is the most common spelling of Laura in America too.
Everyone I've ever known named Laura, spelled their name L A U R A.
I've never known anyone who spelled their name L A R A.
American English doesn't always omit the 'U' in double vowel words.
I do like the British English spellings better, like colour, humour, ect. They are unique and appealing. America's founding father's felt the need to make things different.
@Zombie97 @RicanV @spartanx169x I don't have that problem. My life is a house of horrors sometimes.
Edit: Naw, it's pretty good.
@RicanV @suppaphly42 now that is funny because what i said was probably the offensive part but its still up and all the angry rebukes are gone none of then really all that slanderous.
i was making a joke that a certain demographic may not have found funny
also what makes me wonder is there is no "this comment has been deleted "
IF, IF, IF House of Horrors was cancelled, maybe it was the best thing to do, especially in the long run.
Having someone work seven days a week, week after week, year after year, is counter-productive. It's no good for GameSpot, it's no good for Jess or any one else.
It's no good for someone to be married to their job and swamped seven days a week, every week. People need to have their individuality, their autonomy and enjoy their own life away from their job. "BALANCE" is what a lot of people call it.
I was married to my job for seven days a week for 10+ years, working, studying, putting in massive overtime, sacrificing everything else. I really wish I hadn't, in retrospect. I wish I would have taken more time for myself.
Definitely overworked and under-appreciated--under-appreciated here in the comments section at least.
Once in a while, I'll stop by her Twitter account. A few weeks ago she said she had her first day off in a long time. Plus she has used the term 'seven days a week' a couple of times when describing how busy she is, besides the word 'busy' and 'swamped'; plus the time zone difference between Sydney and PST.
I don't know what her real schedule, but she's definitely busy, busy, busy and under-appreciated, at least here in the comments section.
'The deepest desire humans have is to be appreciated'
--William James, Psychologist
And I'll add to that: to express one's self, to be understood, to be special, ect.
I've had bosses and people in life who never showed any appreciation despite going way above and beyond the call of duty and it sucks--resentment and all the rest.
I've had bosses and people in life who value and support you and think you're the greatest--it makes a world of difference.
