God of War: Origins Collection - PSP versus PS3 Comparison Video
This video shows a side-by-side comparison of both God of War games on the PSP versus the PlayStation 3, highlighting the visual differences between the two.
might get next summer cause there are toooo many great new games coming out this holiday season pulse i dont have to pay full price if and when i get around to getting it
you do know that the stories and gameplay from the original psp were good they should have done more on top of it.
@teufelherz totaly agreed whit you here...they should add more....but the more a game compagny grow the more it become a money hunger/lazy compgany...i guess it buisness when your new you work realy hard to get a place in the market once you got it you milk your big title :P
Wait a sec. is this call progress ??? this a big failure bring old nice game and renew them to a higher standard .... why u don't make new nice games ?? what about making pac man 3D and say to us here u go ..... come on .... yes its nice game and i love and love it more if it's HD but it's old story get old wanna something new NEW or is programmers get lazy to do new things... for all CEO get new unit of developing and creative engineers and alot of fresh blood programmers
I definitely support HD release for GoW CoO and GoS. The mayhem of the games should be experienced on the big screen with surround sound. :) On the other hand, I don't think a side by side comparison is fair because the PSP screen is so small that when I actually played, neither PSP games looked as bad as this video shows. I don't know how hardcore gamers are these days, but I don't have enough interest to replay a game simply for hi resolution textures. So I won't get the Origins Collection. However, new players should definitely grab this version than the PSP versions.
@gino_pachino You are right, I didn't express myself the way I intended to. It's not milking the fans, it's milking the franchise in a poor way. Poor business strategy: code the game to PS3 + add hi-res textures + add trophies = New people buying and playing the game and milking a few that already had it. Good business strategy: things stated above + going the extra mile = new people buying and playing the game and milking lots of people that already had it (myself included). Examples of good business: Resident Evil remake for Gamecube, the upcoming Halo Anniversary, Final Fantasy III for DS, Final Fantasy IV complete collection for PSP. Poor re-launches if only HD: GoW, MGS, Ico & SotC and quite possibly ZoE. As gamers we should demand that companies take that extra time to re-launch games and get more for our buck, if we don't then we'll just be setting the basis for total milkage in the future. I'm sure Sony likes my money but they will not get it this time.
@teufelherz"Wow!!! it looks sooooooo similar!!! please milk me???".....i agreed whit you for the similar part but for the milking part....maybe because some people(like me) dont have a psp and want to play it
