This looks remarkable and amazing! The amount of effort put into this is astounding! I love the bewitching scenery and the world that's being presented to us! Finally a shooter that has diversity and culture. From the looks of It this game will be one of the few shooters where everything isn't so linear. I'm so happy to see Bungie doing this.:)
Invading Knight don't get the dam about 7 worlds.. all i care about is Game Play period... if the game play sucks and story line sucks - then forget it - Keep it HALO... LOL
Interesting but this interview just proved how out of contact they are involved with the rest of the development. "So what about this and that mechanic? " "oh we dont know thats another department"
I never could get into Halo all that much, but this looks awesome. Very interested to find out more.
no wonder it takes so much money to make games if they literally conferred for days to come up with the name 'the traveler'. looks good so far though
While Destiny has an interesting take on the system of operating an FPS, it is not an innovative FPS in the gameplay itself from the little clip i have seen so far. Few developers really understand the concept of radical innovation and how to keep the audience hooked
the amount of new mmo releases this year is crazy, i cantdecide which one to go for, maybe i should start with age of wushu, heard some interesting comments about it.
@grove12345 No it doesn't. I could pretty much guarantee you they know at least some of what's going on. This panel was about art direction and their universe design process. They probably aren't ready to talk about the game mechanics, nor was this panel the place to do so.
@Deadly_Nemesis I hear ya
@megaspiderweb09 There hasn't been too much footage released so far. I'm interested to see how the "magic" plays a roll in the game. Similar to Bioshock's Plasmids/Vigors? This game does have me intrigued.
@megaspiderweb09 that said, the phrase "if it isn't broken, don't fix it" springs to mind. I don't think you can really innovate the fps (although don't hold me to that)
@alzeer1 It's MMOish in a lot of ways but they say it doesn't play like an MMO. You are however connected to a universe with hundreds of other players, that's really the only similarity it has to an MMO. I'm interested in seeing how it all works out. MMOs a lot of time require you to team up with people in order to advance through the game. I'm sure you can play this solo and team up with others only if you wanted to, without feeling like your forced to.
@alzeer1 Couldn't have said it better myself
@rob243 good for you bro!! ime chuffed to meatballs for ya 8)
