Gamescom 2011: Assassin's Creed: Revelations - Walkthrough Video
Check out a walkthrough video for Assassin's Creed: Revelations, which premiered at Gamescom 2011.
@rhymesmatter Yep, no arguement there. Of course a high end PC is the best but I need deeper pockets :D . I do upgrade my PC but not fast enough but when I do I buy games for my PC. Lot smoother and more detailed graphics and framerate. You're right.
@Arda_Daghan212 none taken friend! But while i agree that upgrading to high spec is very expensive that doesn't cancel the fact that High End PC's run on better quality graphs from both XBOX 360 and PS3.Can you really compare a new Sandy Bridge system on 4 GhZ with ATI radeon 6970 or even 6950 with a PS3 or XBOX 360??Not to mention Ivy Bridge which will be released soon! And u want cost wise gaming? THat's why Overclocking exists ! i7 920 oced to 3.8 (and 4.0 if D0 stepping ) with a 5950 also OCed to higher clocks is still far better than both of the consoles! And mind you i am not talking about crazy OC with n2o! I talk about affordable within safe zone OC!So no.Consoles are not better quality wise and cost wise!(not to mention more expensive games right?)
WTH!!! Why did they have to change Altair's voice and face (of what was visible in the first game). Is it because he was still young at that time?
But then again, they did make up for the single player story telling by creating good backstories for most of the multiplayer Templar personas.
@Mistwaver1985 you make a good point, but the thing about Brotherhood was that there was some incentive to go burn down those towers, and buy up all of Rome. Burning towers allowed you to recruit more assassins, and buying up Rome allowed you to have more convenient access to shops and such, as well as allowing you to increase the amount of income you could store in banks. (only by renovating banks though). Plus, exploring the city had more incentive too, like to get the Keys of Romulus, or find items to finish shop quests and unlock items. I had no problem with finishing all off Leonardo's missions off just so that I could get that nice parachute and use it jump of giant buildings whenever I wanted to and without caring about whether there was a damn haystack around. Or finishing those guild challenges off so that I could unlock shiny new equipment. But I do agree about the story telling, it was below average in Brotherhood.
The combat looks good, but who would have doubted that -- combat has been great since the original Assassin's Creed. My concern is are they going to make us do the same thing over and over for 20 hours like they did in Assassin's Creed 1 and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, or are they going to bring heavy storytelling back like we seen in Assassin's Creed II. Well, I wouldn't call it heavy persay, but I'm wondering if it will be more storydriven? I got bored within 2 hours of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood because it felt like all I was going to be doing all game is going around rebuilding a town (the same thing I did in Assassin's Creed II) and burning down towers.... really, really boring...
Somehow, Altair's voice is different from his original voice. Also, he's free-running ability seems to be faster than his original one.
OMG.......... it's cool, but altair face.... i think desmond's face and atair's face are same.... but this one... not at all..
why did they mess with the faces. ezios isnt quite right but jesus altair looks nothing like he used to nor does he sound the same. to me that thing is not altair. not the one i know anyway.
@Arda-Daghan212 : At one time ( maybe still?) the Ford F150 was the best selling vehicle in the US....doesn't mean it was the best performing. Some people might want to drive a Ferrari>>>
@rhymesmatter I think that PC gaming requires too many things, like you need to upgrade your system every year which costs money and it is a large sum at that but consoles?? two years least. And not being able to play on ultra spec makes me upset. And from what I experienced buying a XBOX controller for PC doesn't give you the exactly the same experience when you're playing on consoles. I mean c'mon if consoles didn't surpass PC why would anyone waste money on consoles which sell significant numbers. And I think PS3 and XBOX360 sell more because any PC game you want is in Google waiting to be downloaded but this is off topic so nevermind this. Just what I think though I mean no offense.
@Xerxu Even if it is the same actor his accent is substantially different than AC 1, maybe they trained him to speak like that and I meant his accent is a lot better in this one in my previous comment I didn't mean that he sounded bad. Thx though I thought it was someone else.
why does altair talk like a damn middle eastern now? he used to sound like a whiteboy..an american pretty much.
@AJ2502 Well, original Altair's voice actor wasn't good actually, the accent of people in Masyaf and Altair's accent weren't similar and in this one it is a lot better. I hope we will be able to free roam as Altair.
Console gaming will NEVER surpass PC Gaming mate...Know why?U want Console like experience? Buy an Xbox 360 or PS3 usb controller for PC..Don't get me start about Graphics...Besides Console Ports usually play better on PC than PC ports on Consoles...
@rhymesmatter That's simply because games like this are better on console and will always sell better on console. PC gaming ain't what it used to be.
It's so obvious...Ubisoft will pull a fat one on us ONCE again and they WON'T release the pc version the same day,,,Notice that ONLY the PS3 and XBOX 360 version are advertised...This is Bullcrap
@Biscuit__Head wat do u mean by low budget? they had enough money to give other characters middle-eastern voices but not the main character. ithink his voice in bloodlines sounded more proper
The bomb customizing looks really cool but overpowered at the same time. I like the weapon variety in this game but generally only weapons that fill the same niche as ones before are introduced (crossbow, darts from hidden blade = throwing knives). The bombs are different though. You can use them for traps and distractions and who knows what else. (Did anyone else like the line: "Requiescat en pace, bastardo." I like the older Ezio!)
i played all versions of this game and i cant wait to play new series ,, " it's best game you will ever play ".
Ubi is turning into apple with this series has good ideas but only puts em in 1 or 2 at a time so they can make a new one the next year.
This is looking great. However.....Uhh, the voice of Altair is wrong. Maybe Ubisoft hasn't heard of consistency? Yes, they want to "upgrade" with the new game, however, the Altair parts are back in time, so you cant make them "better" than AC1. Bad move. This is really going to bug the heck out of me playing it.
i hate when they change the faces of characters... though i'm glad its release date getting closer, i really like to play it before AC3
