STOP kicking those tiny cute adorable robots Shaun! OMG...haha...now that's instant entertainment right out of the box and with no extra charge :)
wow.... theres a ton of stuff in that joypad..... not sure all those features will get used in most games, but its a pretty impressive demo.
The systems test alone was pretty cool. And it's amazing that the motion stuff is part of the standard controller rather than a separately sold move controller. Was thinking about the camera solely for video stuff, but with these apps preloaded and being continually updated for FREE, it makes a strong case for the ps camera.
And it's not forced on consumers ;)
I actually want to try this game with friends and family! Not enough for buying the $60 PS Camera, but if the day comes that I get one, I will definetely play this
this is a full game using the kinect 2.0 all the sony eye has is a tech demo microsoft has full games http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuKLAukSzX0
I know it's kind of gimmicky, but it does seem pretty cool. Just don't know if that 60 dollar purchase can be justified by a tech demo or if it will get continued support down the line
This... actually looks nice for my kids.
I hope they don't use it for required gimmicks in games, though.
Actually the most impressive show I've seen of TGS thus far and so little praise! And it comes pre-installed with the PS4, if it could load another game on itself and act as a platform or a virtual reality layer on top of the existing game, it would totally change the experience! think of all the opportunities that a creative game developer can have with this, especially if combined with the Oculus Rift and/or other virtual reality tools, world creation tools and so on.
Combining motion/Gyro and camera sensors, vibration controllers, the touch pad and the companion app. Genius. Well done guys.
Give it some love people!
@shaunmc's peek-a-boo skills could use some work.
personally, not too impress, its just like what they already had with PS2 and PS3 move... nothing really new.
@cousinmerl this is more exciting than old news
@zeusbark Sony would never allow this kind of game on their consoles.
@MrMilkmann Then please, dont! ;)
@Bangerman15 but much preferable to being forced to pay $100, amiright?
@jmace1 It is similar to what Double Fine has already implemented for Kinect, see Happy Action Theater and Kinect Party for Xbox 360.
@GhostofWar75 the tracking on the xboxone kinect is about 100times better then this all the sony eye can do is track one point of light the kinect 2.0 can track your full body in the light or in the dark do look up d4 for xboxone it blows this play room crap out the water
@new_gamer244 its optional they didn't just ditch it.
@aldronlin I hope you're not one of those guys buying CoD every year, then..
@aldronlin I hate life and everything. Nothing impress me..... that is you. how sad you are ?
@FULGOREY2K ya, is shopped with ps4 with future DLCs also free
