Free of Charge: AirMech
Randolph and Jonathan walk tall and fly high as they play AirMech, a real-time strategy game that combines DOTA 2 with Robotech. Did we forget to mention that it's free?
Also having any level of actually "VIP" account allows you to earn more rewards much faster, and looks like redeem some in-game achievements for diamonds.
Jonathan really was a bad co-presenter. In spite of playing the game for a week, he seemed to know very little about it. For instance, he claimed that game supported 2v2 at most, when a 3v3 option was clearly visible on the matchmaking screen he issued , and he made obvious mistakes with the unit commands. He struggled to explain his actions in game, answer Randolph's questions, and otherwise talk about the game whilst he was playing. He was very slow to mention key aspects of the game, and usually only did so when prompted, if at all.
Not only that, but he played so terribly, and with so little thought, that he made an otherwise exciting game look decidedly boring.
Jonathan's efforts at presenting the game could have been described as amateur at best! Poor show Jonathan!
The game developers straight up say its a spiritual revival of herzog zwei. It started off pretty similar but has gone bonkers during developement.
Also although it easy to see that it has some Dota or LoL ideas in it trust me it plays way way different. Its herzog zwei with stuff from total annihilation to world of tanks to a moba. It is most certainly its own thing.
is this a remake? dont know if somebody has mentioned this before but this game feels familiar....Sega Genesis kind of familiar.
Nice one guys! Appreciate the more systematic breakdown of gameplay, and especially the preview of the monetary system. Keep it up!
Decided to try this out after watching the vid. So far it's pretty good fun. I've also added Jonathan as my referrer, after all you did introduce me to the game, I'd never heard of it before now and it nets an extra 1000 Kudos :) Hope you don't mind.
@Blade_Runner22 A little bit, but it's not 'tower defense' (granted cc wasn't entirely either), it's pretty much a moba (think dota), so there's more emphasis on leveling up and capturing strategic points along different lanes of attack. But the same build-and-deploy; amass forces and then push back feel from comet crash is there
