Get ready to turn the world upside down in Flip's Twisted World.
Did you enjoy this video?
Flip wears his hat like Dumb Donald from the Fat Albert show
This.... looks interesting! It's nice to see another colorfull 3D platformer and it definitely looks better then most third-party games on the Wii out there.
To everyone complaining this is unimaginative. How many gray/brown FPSes starring space marines did you buy this year? Or GTA clones? Or God of War clones?
I'm just happy to see a another colorful, 3D platformer again. I would really like to see this do well. Mario Galaxy is fun but it's time for some other new platforming stars to rise once more.
Are people really so dense as to not realize the only thing this and Super Mario Galaxy have in common is that they both have two completely different gravity gimmicks?
Also, Redbonk95, I don't really see how this is like Final Fantasy or Zelda, and that whole Pokemon Platinum gravitational world thing is so irrelevant to the game itself I really doubt this game took ideas from that. Although Flip's Twisted World may have gotten the idea for the gimmick from Super Mario Galaxy it seems more inspired by the thought of walking on ceilings and walls, sort of like when you're a kid and think about that kind of thing when you're looking at stuff upside down, and at any rate sure looks a lot different and seems to have some old-school boss fights.
This game looks like it will add well to the small list of 3D platformers coming out, and people seem to overlook some of the features it has like the fact that you can play it with the classic or gamecube controllers and customize your clothing (which should make Flip's character acceptable..maybe) plus, it's announced to have an online time trial and vs. mode, which has to be a first for a 3D platformer.
I don't like the character ... but the seriousness of the music is interesting .... but still, there are no charm in it ...
Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be less than a year away by the time this comes out, so why bother?
thats the years most unimaginative character yet
this is like super mario galaxy, and that was a pile of crap
i agrre with Jimmy191280.
This is just a clone of Super Mario Galaxy! and it's looks no where near as good.
(In response to kavadias1981) I don't think that it's a wiiware game, because they show a box at the end. I think it looks pretty good, but the sound that the game makes when you get a coin looks like it would get a little annoying after a while. It looks like they have just taken ideas from final fantasy, zelda, and that twisted world in pokemon platinum and mixed them together.
This is a WiiWare game right? Because I certainly wouldn't pay a full retail price for this.
