Five Stages We Hope Are in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD
The Tony Hawk games are legendary classic games, and these are the levels we hope to see translated into the upcoming HD remake.

Lol The School II was modeled after my old HS, El Camino Real in LA. Chad Muska used to skate it a lot with the Shortys team back in the day. I hope they include it so I can skate around Elco like I used to :)
hopefully they update a very dated style of gameplay. maybe take a hint or two from Ea's SKATE and make the gameplay a bit more diverse and challenging.
I'm more than happy to see they brought the Warehouse, would like if they bring more from the 1st game brings nice memories back :)
@AvnKnight I loved thug to death but the reset grind thing was stupid and cheesy. Thug 2 had a better online because they got rid of that garbage.
Ok look i know this is a tony hawks pro skater HD remake but this game NEEDS revert period! Tony hawk has evolved alot over the years and theres no way i can go back to playing without revert now in 2012. Being able to get off your board is a strong WANT for me. Very close to a need but not quite. Being able to revert tho is a must!! This is my favorite franchise of all time i been waiting years for this. Even tho i would prefer a thug 3 or thug HD. Thug is the best in the franchise every tony hawk sucked after american wasteland.
@Ratatoskr321 well that doesnt mean it cant have the same features as thug, you can already see they let you get off the board and everything, and that certainly wasnt in Th1 or Th2 so yeah they could easily copy the double tap reset grinds from Thug.
lovin the nostalgia, just hope they get the music right. Other than that, the cruise ship level from thps 3 would make me happy. Either way its still getting bought tho (mumbles about spending more money on games he already owns)
Anyone else think that it looks like Proving Gound graphics & style in the trailer? also, PLEEASE have Venice Beach from THPS2!
Please, oh please let there be another gap list. Loved trying to find all of the gaps on the checklist. So fun!
holy crap....does that bring back memories. i had tony hawk 2 on dreamcast and I've never played a game more than that!! If they remake stages, I also want them to keep the same music!!
I always wished they'd do an HD remake of Amped 1 and/or 2, or make a completely new game. The third was horrible.
@tylermi - mmm... what about Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 and 4? Those were both great games.Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 remains one of the few games that has a 10 on Gamespot and maintains a 97 on Metacritic. 4 wasn't quite as amazing but still was very good (94 on metacritic). It wasn't until after the THUG games that Tony Hawk started really going downhill and I'd say those games, while they were still good, were certainly one of the causes of it.
@AvnKnight - That's kinda pointless to even say since they've already said it'll be modeled after Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2. Not saying that THUG was bad but since that was about the time Tony Hawk started spiraling down, my guess is it won't be based on that.
This better be like thug, where instead of watching someone go over one line, they have the Reset grinds like the darkslide from Thug aka Double Taps... So you can go across the whole maps. None of taht ghey wanna be realistic crap either.
Instead of remaking a game from over 10 years ago...maybe they should actually rebuild the game from the ground up with a new control scheme?
i did like THPS the first one didn't play the second but had 3 and 4 also have thug1 and i thought the first one was good and thug was good but a little to over the top for my liking.. if they would make it a tad more on the realistic physics side i would be happy to play ... i miss skating as tony hawk seeing as skate series doesn't include tony hawk.. i will say though everything after thug 2 was disappointing... pretty much every ps2 tony hawk game besides thug1 and 2 sucked bad... and that tony hawk skate game for the ps3 don't remember name but with the board and all it was waste of cash... this looks very promising though .. hope its good .. also hope they have plenty of new content ..
#1 @jamyskis I don't think you even played Thps series at all. If you played the second one, you would see that the physics, particles, movements, engine?!!? is totally different than in Thps2. "..remade in a completely new engine for the PS3 and Xbox 360." source: Wikipedia. Make adequate research before you post something stupid. #2 Y U NO MAKE PC? Ff its' a hd remake, you should include the PC at least;greedy SOBs. I haven't seen a good THPS game since 2005 for PC.
Just on a personal note dose any one remember the game mode graffiti? cant wait to play that again with a few mates=)
not played a Tony Hawk's game since Tony Hawk's 2 ill buy this and see if i can get into it again it looks like the same old addictive game play i used to know and love.
I have never played a sports game more than I did with THPS2, it was really a masterpiece! So I hope to see: The Hangar, School II, NY City, Venice Beach, Philadelphia!
I really think that THPS 4 and THUG 1 were two of the best ones and I would love if they remade these games in HD. Alcatraz, College, Manhattan New Jersey San Diego etc.. also THUG 1 had some throwbacks like venice and school and hangar so they would be included as well. Doesn't seem too much to ask. Will this have online? I missing playing koth so bad. *sigh* the good old days
Hey...why not fit the whole first two games in the package? That would be great!! I'm a fan of the series but I'm also realistc....the first two games were great but the others were pretty much more of the same.
I would have: Warehouse (THPS1), Hangar (THPS2), Airport (THPS3), Foundry (THPS3), Downhill Jam (THPS1)
I want my soundtracks from the originals, nothing new, just a compilation of the two(even though I favorite the second)
I really want to see any of THPS4's stages. There was a lot of great stages, like Alcatraz, the Docks, and specially the College. Also, i hope they bring in some old indie bands, because nowdays those garage guys aren't so good...
