Very Solid Beta. Pre ordered standard edition for early access and willing to pay six months of the sub after trying Beta Phase 3.

(Was unhappy customer FFXIV 1.0 -> Now FF XIV 2.0 A Realm Reborn convinced tester).

PS FF XIV 1.0 customers dont need to buy twice This Game = Free download client and 14 days free trial.

I remember reading an article a few months back stating that the FFXIV remake will not add anything new, but rather just fix what was wrong.  It's very respectable that a company will listen to the fans and fix their mistakes.  I just worry that other MMO's have come out and are soon coming out that are "taking the gaming experience to the next level" so to speak, leaving this game outdated.

Hopefully it doesn't come out a disaster like the last online FF. :(

I got to play with the Duty Finder a bit this weekend, and I must say it has to be the best LFG type tool in any game I have played to date. I still hate that groups are 4 and not 5, but thats really just something from playing too much WoW over the years... Aside, its impressive. Now they just need some type of zone/trade chat other then yelling or shouting and I know I'll be happy!

Duty Finder worked great for me. Instant action most times, longest wait was 30 seconds. Nice that its cross server too. Before Duty finder, over an hour trying to spam for a group! Good job on one more step in the right direction.

It looks far better, especially the animation, and finally "jumping".  No more invisible walls.

i used to think squareenix guys invested a lot of time in designing hairstyles for their characters. now i know they just replicate their own.

@WeiCaoCao Just so you know a "Light Party" with 4 players is only for the questing dungeons. The real dungeons and high level primal fight requires 8 players which is a Full Party. The raids will need 24 players as an alliance, 3 parties of 8 players.

@Tidus19@WeiCaoCaoWhat i want to see is a game where the party finder is more elaborate and you can choose a party with whatever classes you want, like, with no tank, with 2 tanks, with 2 healers, no tank and 2 healers, all dps, all melee and healers, rather i want to be able to restrict classes that i want and dont want to find when using it.

I am sick and fucking tired of playing as the holy trinity of tank dps and healer. I prefer the times of old when there were no matchmaking  interfaces in games, your freedom was more limited as to where you could go if you couldnt find ppl, but it was more exciting, theres no randomness involved nowadays.

@Klyern @Tidus19 @WeiCaoCao You can always just get on the chat channel and ask random people or get your friends to join you and make your party of two tanks and two healers or what have you.
