I enjoyed both FFX and FFX-2 just as much as the other. Can't wait for this to come out! Only wish I pre-ordered the collectors edition before It was sold out :(

the entire company needs to go back to these basics. every game after ff x has been a fail and disappointing. they waisted 10years making lightning returns when fans have been wanting ff 7 remake! stupid. As for ff x re-mastered it looks good i hope they add a lot to make it worth it. ff x-2 was the most awful final fantasy i had the unfortunate of buying. i feel as if square enix owes me an apology for making such a shame of a game and even call it a sequel to ffx!

The PS2 PAL.  As already got the expert sphere grid.  And dark aeons etc.

So I don't understand.  Can anyone advise.  Thank you.

I thought the game was supposed to have like a 30-minute scene that played after you beat X and X-2 now, or something?  But all of these trailers Square has constantly released haven't really said much about it.

Maybe I got too excited over that news, for all I know it might not be much of anything.  But I guess I was hoping a little something brand-spankin' new would be added to the story for people who played the original games.  At least it seems like the definitive versions of FFX and FFX-2.

I had forgotten how awful voice acting this game had. I really hope there is an option for japanese audio. Kingdom Hearts and the FF13 trilogy are fine with English dub but not this one if the trailer is anything to go by.

@Ovirew  yea its just the same games because they know they are letting fans down with the new games so they are re releasing ff x and x-2

@pug987  it would be great if they make a downloadable original voice-over package like they did in lightning return.

@pug987 Whenever I hear people complain about American voice-acting in just about anything anymore, I just have to ask, what is considered 'good' by you people anymore?

Imo, the voice-actors did a good job of providing believable voices for all of the characters.

I really don't see how hearing all of the female characters talk with high-pitched shrieks - and everyone in a language I don't even understand - would make it better.

@Ovirew @pug987  I agree....it's not that bad. I don't understand why people would want to listen to a story they can't understand. Incredibly stupid if you ask me....

I don't complain about English voice-acting in everything. As I said, I liked the dub for the Kingdom Hearts series and I think David Hayter was a terrific Snake.

It depends on the amount of effort and care that goes into localizations and the respect for the original material. Things are better now than in the PS2 era for sure. Still not all projects get the treatment they deserve.

The way I see it, if you can't much the talent that voices the original then keep the original. Also the option to use the Japanese dub would solve this problem.

It's not just about English dubs either. I like cartoons but I absolutely refuse to watch them when they are dubbed to my native language. That's why I didn't watch Frozen for example and just wait for the Blue-ray. There is no way in hell that the local voice-actors will be able to perform as well as professional Hollywood actors can. Even if they are talented (and a lot of them are), the difference in culture is such that a dub will always loose something compaired to the original.

@Ovirew @pug987

There is so much more emotion in the subs. English voice work actors sound like they dont even try sometimes.
