Kyle Bosman at GT had an interesting take on this. Yeah Don's moving to Zynga isn't really the humiliating exile we wish it was, but it's still kinda stupid.
honestly ...who gives a shit ? for the people who hate him : he is gone, unless you are a huge zynga fan , and to those who like him : zynga.....and to those who don't give a shit like myself : an awesome 80's freeze frame highfive
Hes entertaining, I enjoy feedbackula but...the guy is just a shill for the industry and everything that's wrong with it. Too much defending of greed and idiots.
Although I will be buying a PS4. I just want to point out that Zynga consistently makes profit every year. Sony made a loss 5 years running and only recently made a profit again. I don't like Zynga. But it is worth mentioning.
BTW, change the name of feedbackula. The wild west motif does not work for a show with a title meant to conjure images of Dracula. The horror theme from the original version fit, this one does not. If the theme changes, so should the title.
Sorry Johnny, why not apply your own logic to this situation. It would be terrible optics for Microsoft to fire the man leading the charge for their shiny new crap box console. It implies a lack of confidence in the product and the message. Doesn't letting that same executive leave moments after revealing the big project also present poorly? Is he leaving because HE has little faith in the product or message? Microsoft should not have allowed him to leave if he was doing a good job promoting the product and delivering a confident message. The only way Microsoft could have looked good coming out of this, is if Mattrick didn't leave at all.
You people have no idea what you're talking about...You know when you're talking about how no one should earn this much money you sound like socialists or communists and that's simply because you have no idea how much living in these kinds of countries sucks...You don't understand capitalism and that's a much bigger threat than Islamist extremism or Iran making nukes or ...
CEO is probably the only position in a organization where you can run a company into bankruptcy and still get a million dollar raise while firing everyone else
i don't understand how people can watch a video ridiculing their stupid, nonsensical comments about a topic...and the GO ON to post 100 more stupid, nonsensical comments below.
Why is gamespot defending these corporate pigs? These CEOs should all be killed or something for dragging us into wars and spying on us. If you are making more than a billion dollars, you are not a good human being by any stretch of the imagination.
Beyond the Ural Mountains where gaming CEOs go to die.
Yep..... Pretty much sums Zynga. A day in his life will now consist of 1. Hitting the snooze button 20 times. 2. Stargging out of bed at 1030AM and getting some SodaStream Energy Drink (TM) Checking his bank account online, laughing hysterically, and taking a nap at 1130AM.
Don't actually make any threats on his Twitter guys... it is a serious offense. Police departments are taking these seriously and people are going to jail!
You must be thinking of the wrong company. Check their income statement, they haven't made a profit for the past 2 years. That's why the company is bringing in this guy.
@SolanOcard He just took a promotion. Worth loads more money. Dolla dolla bill y'all.
@SolanOcardIn fact, Solan, the reason behind this was the same of the Medieval Politics. Give the citizen a man to burn and make him responsible of all the acts against mankind.... while the problem itself doesn't have "a single face" instead it was, obviously, a formula of bad decisions made by all of the enterprise heads in charge.
@blue_shift_91 well it's funny
@_Yacob_ You are pretty dumb. Read about bill gates and what he does with his money
because stupidity is stupidity, regardless of the number of conspiracy theories on how evil or greedy one corporation is over THIS OTHER corporation over there...
and fyi, some people work their asses off to get where they are in their career. WHOA. what a concept, right?
@assedo11 No they pay him in bad movies and silly t-shirts.
You talking about Bush? "How's that Hope And Change thingy working out for ya?"
incorrect usage of that phrase. try again, buddy.
No one deserves that much money. No one can truly earn that much money. Anything beyond "filthy rich" is just a disgusting display of power.
coming from family and friends who worked their butts off to get where there are in a long and diverse list of career paths (JPL, pro skater, founders of a pc retail empire in asia, paralegal/investor, etc etc etc) i can say you're totally full of it.
there's some truth to your "filthy rich" perception. but that's just the nature of a career in high level management. you get paid millions to make decisions that could make or destroy your multi-billion dollar company. don't like it? too bad. companies want to survive, and something like $40million is affordable for companies who want to survive in a bloodthirsty market.
