Shouldn't players have found out who the bad guy is and what he's doing by playing the game and discovering it? rather than have it all spoiled in the trailers?
ever since i played morrowind back in 2002/2003, i crap in my pants every time i have to go into deep water in a game, because of the god damn fish, now these guys kick it even harder with sharks...
People buy into advertising so easily. "It looks flawless". Yeah, don't count your chickens before they hatch. Far Cry 2 looked really promising just like this, and look how that turned out.
Don't get me wrong, it's not like I want this game to be bad, quite the opposite, but I just don't trust Ubisoft. All the trailers so far have just been all flash, little substance.
why do they do the trailers on consoles?do people realise that consoles are SHIT compared to PC. i don't know why people use them its so annoying
*Impish giggle* ...Shooter franchises and references to the 'food chain'...So many things I could say...
Single player is looking nice, but I'm really concerned about the multiplayer. I've read that they've stripped us of the vehicles and are forcing team-play.
Lets not forget that they were saying that this game was borderline bad especially when it came to the Co-Op. Shortly after they decided to delay it 3 months. Some of the complaints were that Co-op had no point and was more tedious than anything. Single player was better, though a lot of fluff and no content. Lets hope they used the time wisely and took the criticism to heart. It does look pretty epic... I actually liked the second one:/
I really liked FC1's scifi element. Even though it was a weird plot I enjoyed the gameplay that it brought.
0:35 HOLY SHIIIIIIII
There never seems to be a new trailer released which doesn't include several cool, previously-unseen features (don't think we've seen the combat slides or vehicle bails before either). And they don't try too hard to show them off either - they're just slipped in amongst the rest of the mayhem.
So pumped for this.
Far Cry 3 hasn't skipped a beat ever since it's first trailers came out. It looks flawless.
Also, GameSpot. No more un-muteable advertisements pleeeease. ^.-
It looks absolutely awesome but I really hope it has depth like a Fallout 3 for instance, anyway I know what I'll be doing Dec 4.
@jamesdvhunt You're annoyed by people using consoles? How does it affect you when other people don't use the exact same thing you do? It doesn't. so quit being an asshole, and stop worrying about everyone else.
@jamesdvhunt Because console gamers then buy the game and complain that it doesn't look as good as the commercial, since they used the PC version in the ad's.
@Sardinar I agree FC2 looks promising but dont bash GameSpot for advertising. Do you work for free? no? Neither does GameSpot and the alternative is for Gamespot to charge us a monthly fees instead. So please dont try and ruin a good thing here.
@WheelerJared because they are outdated, it prevents gaming companies from making games that are cutting edge, they have to hold it back for the consoles. theres like 50 videos about it on gamespot dude. PC's the graphics and sound dominate, for some people thats important and the PS3 and XBOX hold PC's back. 10 years ago PC's were at the same level as consoles, but nowadays they outpower them ridiculously. It's annoying because you see so many games come out that could have been good, but have been held back for console play. The ps3 and xbox came out years ago, but PC's advance every day, and on top of that, how can you argue that a console is better than a PC for anything? A PC can be customised completely, has no holdbacks, you can use USB controllers that are better than the ones for console, the games look way better with a faster FPS.
@Psycold im complaining about them using consoles to show gameplay in the ads. they dont use the PC version so you never know how good the graphics are until the game comes out
@jamesdvhunt I'm not arguing that consoles are better. I know pc's overpower them by a long shot. I'm just saying let people live their life. Consoles are always going to be a part of the gaming industry because they're just so god damn convenient. and people like that. But If you feel held back I'm sorry. There's not much to do about it.
