@topsize I envy you, i was one of those who could not wait for the original glitchy mess to come out
I love Fallout and this game seemed like a awesome change of flow with the whole being in actual civilization. But the glitches from reviews swayed me into not buying it. If they patch this up I may buy it. But I'm not giving Beth anymore money on PS3 games until they work.
Oh touch wood. Im still playing so dont wanna suddenley get issues after being all postive about it lol.
I just got this game , and was able to patch it up , and get all dc before playing. Have had no issues they described . The shooting wasn't awkward for me either, felt just like a fps, guess the patches made a huge difference in bugs and performance. Pick this game up now if you haven't yet. with all the fixes its the perfect time to do so. They probably should have released the game later imo after they fixed the bugs/issues.
Yay!! I cannot wait. Right hand of the lord meet Left fist of me myself and I OOH!! your out numbered:(
obsidian is doing it, so of course it will be great! can't wait! Dead Money was fantastic, all the tense atmosphere with the scarce music and the awesome characters, especially Dog/God...superb!
looks pretty good, hopefully it will be out by the time i get my ps3 fixed. Fallout new vegas was running beautifully on it after the patch but maybe a little too well since my ps3 fried :( lol i know its nothing to do with the game btw before people think im really blaming it. I just hope the guys repairing it can keep my save games.... hours of fallout and then mass effect 2 completion save :( plz plz
every time a new dlc for F3 comes out I start by flaming it, then buying it and finally raging and flaming again. I doubt this will be any better, but I can't help it, I'm totally getting it! I'm addicted and can't bear to pass anything having the "Fallout" staple on it. Sadly
Dead Money was a huge let down. except for the level cap increase and the automatic rifle and thats it. this 1 looks ok but thats what i thought for dead money so idk
this looks pretty lame to be honest. i love the fallout games but paying money for a series of glorified "search and kill" missions is dull at best. wheres the creativity? bring back the pint size slasher or anything other than these stupid dlc side quests. people are learning quickly in the gaming market that many games shoot for overused and simple concepts that sell rather than create art in the form of a great story. come on
@ Martyr_of_Wrath Yes. That's Joshua Grahm. "The Burned Man." He lost the battle of Hoover Dam, so Caeser had him set on fire and thrown off a cliff.
So, just so I have this right... that's the guy Caesar kicked off of a cliff while on fire right? His second in command when they lost the fight for Hoover Damn the first time?
That is sooo... Book of Eli. But yeah, it's payback. I mean, Book of Eli got inspirations from Fallout, and well, Fallout is taking from Book of Eli! Hehe.
All I'm hoping for is the framerate to at least be endurable, otherwise I won't consider getting it.
Where's the part in the trailer where it starts lagging, then eventually freezes. I can't wait for all the DLC and GotY edition. Hopefully.
Sony announced today that the PSN network is down for life due to hackers attacking their servers and stealing their underwear. LoL J/K
After playing Dead Money, there's no way I'll get this before finding out what it actually adds and whether or not you can actually go back after finishing it.
