Fable Legends Has Balancing Issues - Gamescom 2014
Andy Bauman and Shaun McInnis had two very different experiences playing Fable Legends, and while it wasn't without enjoyment, currently it seems as though the game has some balancing issues to work through before release.

I guess Fable Legends is trying to differentiate itself but I would like to see you be able to customize your villian or make it like Overlord where you are right there w/ your minions on the battlefield serving up pain and not from a hidden vantage point.
When will they release pics of a custom hero? I wish Lionshead would do a better job showing pics of enemies as i.e. new bandits or hobbes. Would also like to see what other environments look like
looking at the graphics and the combat even the multiplayer makes me wish theyd just made a fable 4 instead
What the guy on the left said sounds weird to me.
Obviously if the character hes playing is a support character he shouldnt be running ahead of the group.
If I were playing that character I would stick with a strong party member and when engaged in combat move slightly further back.
What sounds wrong to me is that he makes that character sound like he's unable to defend himself which is weird because none of the characters, until now, seemed week at all.
Eh, I'm really not a fan of this concept for a Fable game, but I am interested is seeing how well it's executed.
Fable Legends is not Fable. It's a cash in from a developer that has no direction without the leadership of PM. At least they're porting Fable Anniversary to PC and next-gen consoles, so we have that until this thing falls on it's face.
That guy isn´t a good player. I´ve seem some games he was playing, like Forza Horizon 2 and he wasn´t very well too. That seems to be what makes his opinion different...
4 v 1 seems to be a growing thing. It's an interesting dynamic and it opens up the possibility for some not entirely zero-sum competition as long as there are some anti collaboration measures.
Leech, the necromantic healer you played, and Glory are definitely early in the development. For example, we're adjusting the speed of Leech's lifeforce gain, and allowing him to gain lifeforce when a target he is draining is damaged or killed by one of his fellow Heroes.
Balance issues are absolutely a long-term concern with all of these unique Heroes and the Villain's creatures each being so different from one another. And that's why we'll have a beta that lasts several months.
Sound like it's pretty good. All classes shouldn't be able to do everything. If you're a healer then you should suck donkey desti cles at combat. Maybe the healing should be more efficient but still, judging by what they said, it sounds ok.
this game im really on the fence about, it kinda fun but i dont know
haven't been impressed with the combat.
@lpool8 meh i people should stop trying to look at what this game isnt, and look at what's its trying to do.
who cares if its fable 4 or not, if this is a good game i will buy and have no regrets.
@blacksheperd You must have watched a different video to me. He said he was with the tank, and healing the tank. But the method of draining health from enemies and shooting it at his ally was slow and ineffective.
@WeWerePirates it not new , due your homework.
@WeWerePirates yeah and it seems like it came outta nowhere, its like left for dead i think was the first to try to incorporate the one player being the monster thing.
and i think they expanded on that with evolve. then fable got revealed
then the new game from bioware. its like where did this craze come from lol
@eckelberry sounds promising, feels like you guys are putting a lot of effort into this. a lot of people are skeptical but ill wait to play before I write off the game.
@Monsterkillah yeah the villain looks more fun to play then the heroes in my opinion.
@sonyonly4 You'd still be the poor, oily-faced, pimpled teenager you are today. Only then you might be able to buy a subscription to ProActiv.
Oh hey look, the crybaby that gets upset when people put him down, even tho he draws the attention to himself....poor kid
@eternaldragoonx the devs said they've even stuck a huge chunk of their team now working on balancing issues.
@quicktim3 I hope I get a beta invite. I love the Fable series but I am also kind of on the fence on this game.
@quicktim3 @lpool8 with no story or npc's or anything i can't see it being any good just seems to be kill an enemy move on to the next combat arena with no purpose, goal or world to explore which i feel a full on new title would provide this just dosen't feel like a full game worth what will probably be £50-£60 pounds i don't know how much xbox one games are
@quicktim3 evole was not the first to do 4v1. My god
