Bah, I'll wait for a review first. Gamespot loves hyping shit, then when it is released, shit all over it.
For a good long while now, this has been one of my two most looked forward to games (tied with Smash bros). It is rare to get excited about FPS games anymore, but this one has grabbed my attention. Can't wait to pre order this on Steam.
@xsonicchaos No I dont think the developers are going for "Believe the hype" bullcrap but if you played Left 4 Dead and enjoyed it chances are you'll enjoy this and then some.
Hype is dumb and anyone who craps on this game because of others creating hype for it is an idiot.
@xsonicchaos I don't believe the hype. There has not been a single point along this games development where it looked even remotely fun.
@Poodger @blkgto @xsonicchaos And I absolutely hated left 4 Dead, it was a boring and shallow game, way too repetitive. This will be more of the same. Empty, frivolous, and sixty bucks. I don't care about concept art, a lot of games have amazing looking concept art. That does not necessarily reflect the final product.
@blkgto @Poodger @xsonicchaos I never said anything about concept art. I said the CONCEPT. The IDEA. 4 players hunting a strong monster that you can build up is such a fun idea. And Left 4 Dead was one of the best FPS games of last gen. Of course, there is not (and never will be) a game that appeals to everyone. Even most cherished of games will have some people that just didn't like it. I respect your opinion on L4D, but the rest of us will enjoy a wonderful game!
