Eve-VR is Still a Side Project

Eve VR hasn't been adopted at a proper title just yet, but it's still looking stellar.

Looks like trash.

Only old geeks love this kind of boring terrible games.

They don't even require strategy, just point and shoot.

Whoever holds the license for the X-wing game need to see this, and get inspired.

The Oculus Rift is quite simply the future. Sony themselves love it and when asked if the PS4 would support the Oculus they simply smiled and replied "no comment".  Within 5 year's VR will be the new norm as this is true next gen. Not just updated graphic's, physic's etc but a whole new immersive experience in that playing on a TV could NEVER compare to

@GungraveRX As someone who has tried this you're wrong wrong wrong wrong

Trying EVR was one of the most surreal expiriences of my gaming life.  I've never been into dogfight sims but this thing is absolutely amazing..  The lock on system makes you feel like you're raining down missile hellfire with the power of your MIND

@Paddy345 I don't see it replacing everything, but certain gaming titles will definitely be able to utilize it.  We already have games that use TrackIR, so by extention games of those ilk (Arma, flight sims) will be a natural fit for the Occulus.  The issue is of course that gaming companies have to ensure that everyones on equal footing.  Not everyone will have an Occulus, so that will limit companies ability to truly incorporate it as a core design feature (balancing between those with and without an occulus).

For me, once the Occulus can improve its screen resolution & 'screen door effect', I will gladly buy one.
