Escape From Mount Stupid - Zelda
Danny takes a look at 26 years of collecting rupees and saving princesses in this history of the Zelda series.
Danny's summary at the end of the video, when he said "Zelda introduces something that never gets old... adventure" perfectly sums up why I adore the series.
I've been after The Twilight Princess for years, on the gamecube. It is so expensive now. I tried to get it on release but the shops in the UK at that time, no longer stocked Gamecube games, I was gutted!
I just don't fancy playing it on a Wii... they are not for me!
The Link to the past on the SNES, Ocerina of Time & Majora's Mask on N64 are quite possibly the best games ever made - PERIOD. The Gamecude Zelda was also a great game and well up there - am hoping the WiiU may do somekind of dowloadable old skool collection. If so then i'd get the WiiU just for that.
I grew up with the Legend of Zelda series it started in Japan in 1986 which is the year I was born; I got my NES in 1988 and we always rented the first Legend of Zelda title.
Awesome vid mate! Really well researched. Grew up with and loved Ocarina of Time. Lots of fanboys out there and they would agree with your view of that Zelda brings adventure, fun and innovation each time around.
I spent months as a kid playing The Legend of Zelda, but I never played any of the others, or even heard of half of them. The original game was great, though. One of my absolute favorites as a kid. I loved being able to explore the world unlike any game at that time. Great show again, Danny!
