Why people need to look for jobs everyday morning? It just doesn't make any sense. However, I am glad that micromanagement is back to simcity and I am looking forward to this game.
I could see the micromanagement of this getting really annoying. You'll have to make sure industry isn't over-producing or under-producing.
I realize that it might be a performance issue, but it would be cool if they could have simulated employment in a more realistic way rather than workplaces seeking out workers on a daily basis. The worker could be assigned and then be permanently tied to that workplace until/unless some other factor severed the assignment, then the workplace seeks out again to fill the empty spot. I guess it would be too much to track each resident like that, but then again I don't know enough to say that it couldn't be handled in some clever way.
So glad to see this isn't isn't gonna be just a simple rehash of the old games like Societies was. This looks really good.
I that the smoke isnt simply just an animation but it actually has a purpose of representing each time the building is creating air pollution. Or at least thats how they made it out to be.
