EA Sports UFC - Bruce Lee Reveal Trailer
Bruce Lee steps into the Octagon for the first time with EA Sports UFC launching June 17th.
I wasn't wanting to get this, but now I have too damn it. It better not be a broken grapple fest where striking is useless like I'm expecting, and they had better of done the Dragon justice with his move set
i reckon they need to create a system where every part of the body has a health system, depending on the power of the aggressor.
Im talking like as detailed as parts of the head, different parts of the body can get hit with perfect aiming with the analogue stick. Like you can AIM for the temple or behind the ear or left or right eye or nose and every part of the body has its OWN health system. not an overall health system. So if you hit a perfect shot to the liver they are more likely to go down etc.
Every part of the body should have its own health system.
Crossing my fingers EA doesn't EA another sports title. It's probably gonna be horrible control and arcadish with no depth.
So I keep waiting for Bruce Lee to show up, and it is only 3 seconds at the end lol
and where the heck is @khuzko ? lol
Bruce Lee is the only reason I'd ever touch this game, but... no way I'm pre-ordering for Lee. Rather just go play some SLEEPING DOGS.
Maybe the Lee estate will license a Bruce Lee game again?
@Omega-316 in real life Bruce Lee would get owned lol. Even Chuck Norris said to Bruce if we were in a real fight id kill you. Im a real prize fighter.
@MICHAELKNIGHT2K ...and PC only gamers loss. So many great games PC can't run :(
@chemicalegypt no, this new generation of kids sucks...
@battlefront1943 Like the weird Commodore 64 one? :)
@battlefront1943 No kidding, with today's games, where is the Bruce Lee and or even Rambo game the world deserves. What they could do with fighting now, story, visuals, mo-cap, CGI with Bruce and also similar to Far Cry/Just Cause what they could do with a free roam Rambo game with full license
You dont need to pre order to get him. You can unlock him by playing career mode and winning the belt. Pre order is for instants access only.
In real life? Is Bruce lee a video game now? He basically created mixed martial arts. Don't be retarded.
That's a rather biased statement. :/
@Sw1tched @battlefront1943 Rambo SHOULD of been a survival game running away from the cops in that town in First blood. Like hunting animals in the forest for food, hiding in caves and trying to get away from the cops. Using animal skins to bandage wounds etc. When you are hurt.
Bas Rutten also has stated a few times that it would be interesting to see Bruce Lee in a real UFC fight. Even Rutten thinks he would need more than flashy kicks and fast punches to win a real fight against trained killers.
I guess youd have to watch a Machida vs Bruce lee fight maybe. Both in their primes. You see the skills of Jon Jones today man and i dont know if Bruce Lee could handle some of the UFC guys of today.
Bruce Lee made chinese martial arts and kung fu movies popular.
You look at cain velasquez for example, he would throw Bruce lee around like a ragdoll.
@ajstrike922 im just quoting Chuck Norris. He said that, look it up on You tube. He said to Bruce Lee, im a martial artist prize fighter, you are not. In real life he implied to Bruce Lee that you are good, but im a world champion in real life. YOU are not (meaning Bruce Lee). Then he asked Bruce, "so you want to beat the world champion (which Chuck was at the time) in a fake movie?"
And Bruce relied
"I want to kill the world champion in the movie"
I dont think Chuck Norris liked the idea that as a world champion he was seen as the loser of a fight. Chuck believed he was a much better fighter than Bruce Lee. He obviously did the movie. But i get the feeling in the interview, Chuck didnt think he was as good as people thought he was. chuck mentioned Bruce lee was good, but hes not a world champion at anything. I am.
chucks words dude not mine.
@nyran125tk Yes, but Bruce wouldn't be fighting those guys. He wouldn't be in their weight class. Plus, like most sports, as we learn more about the sport, the next generation surpasses the previous. As we learn more about what works and what doesn't fewer mistakes are made. It's why records always get broken. You'd have to transport Bruce into our era and give him the same opportunities to train and study as those guys to see who was really better, not to mention have them meet at a "catch weight."
@nyran125tk You people put UFC fighters on too high a pedestal just because they compete in their Competitions. Bruce Lee was never considered what you may call a "Professional Fighter" because he never competed in such.
When Chuck Norris said he could Seriously "Hurt him", it was out of arrogance from those that compete in tournaments and automatically claimed they were superior because of them. Yet you have to remember, the best of the best don't always compete in tournaments. Example, I know a dude that studied Tae Kwon Do nearly all his life. Won several Tournaments yet got his ass kicked in a 1 on 1 street fight. I'm pretty good at basketball yet I was able to shutdown some clown who thought he was better because he played college ball. My best friends uncle got into a fight with a Built Drunk Marine on St. Pattys and was able to take him down. That was 2 years ago.
Point is, just because you're 200lbs of muscle or because you compete in a professional level, does not make you some sort of god. They're merely advantages, nothing more.
Bruce Lee was a Street Fighter. No more No less. In a Street Fight, there are no rules. Comparing UFC fighting to a Street Fight is like comparing Apples to Oranges. They're never the same. The most skilled UFC can get brutally beaten in a Street Fight if the opponent knows how to use their surroundings to their advantage.
Of course I'm not saying Bruce Lee would enter the UFC and Dominate the hell out of it, But you can certainly bet your ass he'd put up good fights.
