E3 Highlights: Best Games - The Division, Titanfall, The Crew
Jess gives you the run down on our favourite games at E3 2013, from Battlefield 4 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to Fantasia: Music Evolved.
Ok the racing game. CREW is not God's gift to the world. I can't figure out their thinking that they are not making the game for the current gen.consoles. So many much more prestigious gaming brands are offering their games to the current consoles as well as the new ones. They are ignorant on this and racing gamers value companies that support the old machines too. Many of my fellow gamers in my age group are going to BOYCUT THIS BEHAVIOR,FORZA 5 included. They have gone too much on this so called give new technology a chance. Don't get me wrong the new tech.should always be given a chance but not in favor on our back who yet are not ready to put 500$ on the line for the X ONE.
Splinter Cell Blacklist and Battlefield 4 and Titanfall and the Crew, last but not least The Division & Thief.
Ubisoft is doing great, i think Ubisoft will make some of the best titles nextgen Plus they make cross platform. i am looking forward to ubisoft future titles.., i am exploding by looking at the nextgen, its going to be amazing exoerience by all the game makers
Really CoD Future Warfare... I mean TitanFail... I mean TitanFall is one of the best games of E3? Low standards ftw.
Looking good...especially the Tom Clancy game...
But can you tell me where I can get the background music that you used in the show?
Titanfall, Destiny, The Divison, and Battlefield 4. I CANNOT wait. I've never been so excited for next gen consoles.
Titanfall will be the last useful game to use cloud tech with Xbox One reversal.
Might as well just stick to PC gaming.
She said 19 min drive from coast to coast right? Or was it 90? Because 19 doesn't seem that "extensive". Pretty sure the ride down the mountain back in SSX 3 took longer than that.
Watch Dogs looks great.... love the setting of The Division but I'm not really into the online only thing
It's official. Microsoft just confirmed NO restrictions on Xbox One.
NO required online connection to check in
NO block on used games
NO block on lending games
NO block on reselling games
No blocks whatsoever.
@jark888 I was surprised with FFXV. It looked really awesome, but I'm kind off confused what it is now. Seems like an action adventure game?
This is Gamespot, their idea of what constitutes a great game is a tad skewed. This is the site that gave The Last of Us an 8!
@Dovlla then you didnt play Dark Souls, try it you will change your mind
@Dovlla thank god I am not a true rpg gamer I hated the game.
@Pawfalcon 90! =]
@bloody_roar_fan She has the best graphics.
@KaSeRRoR I agree
@nima_metal90 watch dogs was crazy too!
@Zevvion What a U turn from MS. Think all the negative feedback has put the sh1ts up them.
@Zevvion they tryed to rape us I still wont buy it they lost my trust
Still not buying it...
They have exposed what they are.
I still believe them pulling the plug will be a lesson they will learn now and this is great for console gaming, we need no influences from these types of companies and I hope they have learned their lesson.
I still will never touch their product.
@Zevvion @jark888 FFXV was originally FF versus XIII, and was turned to FFXV. After a gigantic development time i guess they decided to stop with the crap, and it got a large fanbase. youre right, it is an action adventure, as this is being worked on not only by the FF team, but also by some members of the Kingdom Hearts team. It isnt turn based.
If you look at the games closely you'll probably notice something in common that MGS 5 didn't have at E3...
@nukem235 @Dovlla I don't know if I'd say I 'hated' the game but I tried to play Witcher 1 on two separate occasions and it failed to pull me in both times. I found the basic moment-to-moment gameplay tiresome and slow. And while I appreciated the more mature story-telling, it was still a vastly inferior 'story experience' than one can find simply from reading a book, including the actual books which inspired the Witcher series.
@Gamerhomer You fail to realize Sony had the exact same plan. Then come E3 they decided to dump them as they saw an oppertunity to increase pre-orders.
You're naive if you think one company is evil and the other good. It just means you've fallen victim of one's company marketing.
Microsoft doesn't want to lose customers so they did this. Sony wanted to win customers so they dropped it just before pre-orders opened up.
Businesses work this way. You should be mindful of that. Always.
It's a kind of storytelling that lets you piece together the world around you, and your role in it...which is good and all, but it's not enough and too little compared to what the Witcher's story offers...
I played Dark Souls, so I can compare, and the story and characters are just better...
@benelori @petar555 @Dovlla Not necessary, there is kind of story telling and a lot of interesting things that you can discover about the characters, but it is not the traditional way where everything is given, here you have to read item descriptions and other things. If you just slash and hack Dark Souls will not guide you or tell you much, but instead you have pieces that are around and some is left to the players imagination and deduction
@gokussj529 I think Microsoft never expected this to be such a problem. They thought everyone wanted to be always on and so forth anyway and implementing that into their console would enable certain cool features.
But when the backlash against those restrictions was so enormous, Sony swooped in and uppercutted them in the face. Really smart of Sony and really dumb of Microsoft.
@Zevvion were are you getting your information from, how do you know that sony had the exact same plan.
It just sounds like you are trying to soften up Microsoft idiotic ideas. yeah sony was trying to get more customers but Microsoft was being plain stupid.
