Check out the top Nintendo exclusives of E3 2014.
Did you enjoy this video?
I don't care what anyone says. I love my Wii U, and am excited for almost every title in this video!
Xeno looks sooooo GOOD.
The art styling in the new zelda makes me smile
@translucent17 I do like all the beautiful colors and overall look but they really need to inject Link with a little more testosterone. He looks like a masculine lesbian
well, i have to commend nintendo for catering to the female/homosexual/ 6 year old video game market. Females, homosexuals, and 6 year olds need games also.
Exactly, Nintendo tends to cater to those with open minds, such as the groups of people you listed, instead of the ignorant narrow-minded crowd that judges people based on the videogames they play and/or uses videogames as a means of self validation.
@TheLeftHandDoom The more I see people like you criticizing Nintendo, the more I know they're going in the right direction. :)
Thanks for further proving what an ignorant narrow-minded fool you are.
So true, I actually don't want Nintendo to become a mainstream anymore otherwise it means that prejudice DB's who were once criticizing Nintendo will now be part of the Nintendo fanbase.
For Nintendo fans ...yes all good ... What of all other people that want the full console experience ... Not enough ... One of the same ... Sorry i pass till Wii U cost 150 or less. The only games i found interesting were Zelda / Xeno X ... Will those 2 justify a Wii U purchase ..not remotely close.. A rent will do
@AzatiS Full console experience? A console is for playing video games, end of list I hate the fact they've become multimedia entertainment devices.
@AzatiS Seeing as the original Xenoblade has given me more than 200+ hours of gameplay and things to do and collect I imagine it's sequel will give me even more. I would think Xeno is a system seller.
Loving the new "Quick Start Up" feature of the Wii U, takes me back to where you would just turn on the system and start playing already.
my internets to you sir.
This Mashup needed more Bayonetta 2, actually any amount of Bayonetta 2 since the very short clip of Bayonetta was from the originals port
@Lightning__Evil Bayonettaaaaa 2 can't wait for that game
If this is Nintendo's top after making loyalist fans of the console/company wait so long then they are doomed. I saw nothing even remotely interesting in any of these trailers, they've become like an egg without substance ready to crack at a moments notice. Can't believe they even had the nerve to add the title top Nintendo mash up trailers.
@abHS4L88 @tmthywtsn "New interesting ideas coming from Nintendo," stop deluding yourself and face facts, Yoshi and Mario ain't gonna pop out of your PC screen to give you a golden egg for defending the rapidly spiraling down the toilet bowl company called Nintendo. You don't come to E3 to offer less content or watered down content and expect the majority to be satisfied. There was no Metroid, Star Fox, F Zero, Donkey Kong, no nothing. These were games that helped define Nintendo over the years no decades. You be content with your less content option.
@tmthywtsn Are you serious, the only thing new from Microsoft and Sony were the indie games. They both will not have major exclusive games until 2015. Destiny, multi-plat, Evolve, multi-plat, Assassin's Creed, multi-plat, TLOU, already played, Halo Collection, already played those games. I'm not going to buy a system for games I've already played with enhanced graphics and Indie games that don't take advantage of the graphics. No offense to indie's, just stating my logic. Most of the games they showed I already knew about. Nintendo was the only one that had a few surprises. One thing about Nintendo that nobody can take away from them is that at least when they release a major exclusive, 99.99999...% of the time there are no bugs or updates that are needed which is what I love about them. Why would I pay $60 for an incomplete game?
@abHS4L88 @tmthywtsn Resorting to personal insults when someone speaks their opinion, this defines a true narrow minded fan-boy who can't swallow any criticism of their favorite console or games. You keep mentioning Microsoft and Sony like I'm some how in support of them when I'm not, I support the games not which console company produces them. That gamepad thing hmm... why do i need to use a tablet sized controller to play my games? Trying to always be new and innovative is nice but when the console defining games we all know and like are lacking fatally then something is seriously wrong. Nintendo is still trying to appeal to an audience that's diminishing rapidly, they choose the easy less technological path in hopes that less will bring them more like the latest Godzilla movie that only grossed a lot at the box office because of the title alone and not the content
You talk about no new and interesting ideas then your first thing talking about Nintendo is "no Metroid, Star Fox, F-Zero, Donkey Kong." Please read your comment again and think about how stupid you sound. There was a new Star Fox and we recently got a new Donkey Kong so so much for me not "facing facts" when you don't even seem to know it all yourself. People love to say "Nintendo brings nothing new" and here they are, bringing a whole lot of "new" and what happens? "Where's your classic franchises Nintendo? I don't want this new stuff!" And the idiocy continues.
So I'm deluded? Let's see, from Nintendo I saw games that fully utilized the GamePad and played with interesting concepts like Project GUARD and GIANT ROBOT. Nintendo revitalizing creative concepts from several years back with Kirby's Rainbow Curse and Yoshi's Wooly World. Them taking an innovative twist on the competitive shooter genre with Splatoon, bringing back action oriented turned based strategy games last seen in Valkyria Chronicles with Project STEAM, and finally bringing an editing tool for their most popular franchise yet.
Of course, I know you're going to be all like "That's not all new!" putting on full display your inability to read properly, I said "new and interesting ideas" meaning either new or interesting or both. So judging by your comment, you must've thought that Sony and Microsoft had more new and interesting ideas than Nintendo, so I'm curious, what are these new and/or interesting ideas? And remember, I'm talking about Sony and Microsoft, NOT a 3rd party developer.
I will be content because like I said, it's preference. Once again, just because YOU don't like it doesn't mean it's not good or interesting, your opinion =/= fact, get over it. I already stated that I don't require a massive library of games, on average, I buy 1 game every 2 months.
Proving more so how you're lacking in reading comprehension. I wasn't insulting you personally, I pointed out that what you're saying is stupid. I'm all for pointing out valid criticism but when you can't even put together a coherent argument, how is anyone supposed to take you seriously?
An audience that's diminishing rapidly? You mean the same audience that the rest of the industry is pretty much targeting? The "casuals" make up the largest audience and in general, due to the rise of tablets and PC gaming, the overall audience for consoles in general has been going down.
You act like Nintendo doesn't even deliver on the content yet nearly every single major title they've released so far has ranged from great to amazing. So because the console is weaker it's the "easier path?" No, the easier path is what many others are doing, going after the "easy to please" audience who just sees pretty graphics and "hardcore" gameplay and eats it up, trying to be new and innovative is not the easy path so way to contradict yourself.
I brought up Sony/Microsoft because I said Nintendo showcased more new and interesting ideas compared to them, yet you disagreed, meaning that you must believe those 2 had more new/interesting ideas.
Finally, last I checked, the "console defining" titles for the past few Nintendo consoles have been Super Mario, MarioKart, Smash, Zelda, and Pokemon considering those are Nintendo's main system sellers and those have been delivered or are on the way. Really though, the only franchise that still remains "in limbo" is F-Zero, so again, what are you talking about? I have no problems with valid criticisms, I had my own fair share of criticism when watching the Digital Presentation (I'll share it with you if you want me to), but when you bring up some wishy washy argument that sounds more like you just want to hate on Nintendo and bring them down, I don't know how you can expect anyone to take your comment seriously.
Weird because I felt exactly the same thing after watching Microsoft and Sony's top games. Know what that's called? Preference, just because you saw nothing interesting doesn't mean they're doomed or "an egg without substance ready to crack." I saw far more new and interesting ideas coming from Nintendo this E3 than I did from Microsoft and Sony combined, yes there's less content, but unlike many others, I don't require a massive library of games.
@tmthywtsn I didn't see watered down content. I saw engaging gameplay and new styles of gameplay. I saw a different take on the arena shooter genre with Splatoon and some of the gifs I've seen, we're already seeing advanced techniques being done. Meanwhile everywhere else I see homogenization of gameplay with tired old mechanics offering something that doesn't feel new but is actually more of the same. I was excited for LPB3, No Man's Sky but more than anything I was most excited for Grimfango's return. That says something that I was more excited for a 15 year old game to be brought back over everything else Sony and Microsoft showed.
We already had a new Donkey Kong and apparently Nintendo is planning something for Metroid both the 2D and 3D Metroid. F-zero, I would love to be brought back as well and Star Fox U is already in tech demo stages and they're working on it. Miyamoto even announced Star Fox and talked about it. He's even calling 2015 the year of Star Fox from that Entertainment Weekly article.
Aside from like 3 titles (Devil's Third, Train Simulator and Mario & Donkey Kong) I want all of these games :D, looking forward to the next 1.5 years on the Wii U/3DS
@abHS4L88 Devil's Third may not have looked like the best game graphically but I will get it to support 3rd party developers. I'll also do the same for Hyrule Warriors, I've never really been into Dynasty Warriors before. Devil's Third seemed to have a lot of multiplayer options that I liked. And it's a new genre on the Wii U. Well not a new genre but it fills the gap for one.
I want to support as much as I can also but it doesn't mean I'm going to buy up whatever comes out. I just make sure to buy any must have 3rd/2nd party games brand new.
Honestly looking forward to train simulator
well there it is a reason to get the wii-u some of those games look really good
The one thing that overwhelmed me at the Nintendo show was Splatoon. That game deserves to be awarded 'most Original game in the show'. I noticed one little item they could add, which translates into "this is one of the most perfect designed games ever!" This is what I always liked about Nintendo, they come up with new and original concepts. Nintendo seems to set apart the visionaries from the average game creator. Whether we like it or not, Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Metroid, Eternal Darkness, Pikmin. A host of true gaming originality.
They should show more on Zelda FFS we got to see so little on it after years of waiting.
Pretty sure we'll get an extended trailer next Nintendo Direct
@abHS4L88 @HonorOfGod I hope so. After last years E3 we got next to nothing for info on X. I hope they don't do that with Zelda. It has too much positive hype now it can't be forgotten. It needs to be dangled to entice customers on the fence.
I actually want a Wii U now. Between the price drop a few months ago, and all the games coming out the system is finally looking good. Also, holy omg Monster Hunter IV!
Head's up, Monster Hunter IV is for 3DS.
i wonder how smash brothers is going to work on a 3ds to bad i broke mine when i trip over that stray cat and drop it
@j12456788 Did you learn anything from it? Like maybe take some time from technology long enough to get where you are going.
Things like that are why so many people die while driving, trying to text, email, or update some stupid facebook profile. Who cares if you just bough new sunglasses, how about keeping your eyes on the road so you don't run into my wife and leave her kids without a mother.
@greebe55 @deadpen @j12456788 Lmao.
@deadpen @j12456788 well that escalated quickly
the best nintendo game i saw was the a train city simulator
Pretty much everything Nintendo had was an exclusive.
@xgalacticax Still better than "exclusive DLC"
Yeah because third party devs aren't sticking around lol. Every single game in the video looked like absolute crap.
@xgalacticax They will be a second system for most, but unlike the XB1 or PS4, they have many exclusives people want to play so they can rely on their exclusives a little bit. I had all 3 systems last cycle, because I am not a huge Halo or GoW fan, I think I only got 2 or 3 360 exclusives (and after I got my PS4 I didn't get any multiplats for it... RRoD annoyed me too much) so for the past few years outside of Conviction I barely touched my 360, I can't see that happening with my Wii U :). I will get another system sometime (probably a PS4, once it starts to get some good exclusives, my PC and PS3 will work for multiplats for now) but for now, I love having a Wii U.
Shows how narrow-minded you are. Check out IGN's "45 Awesome E3 Games" video montage, which looks more like "15 Awesome E3 Games" since over half of those titles barely look different from each other. At least if you were to do a quick montage of all the titles Nintendo announced, it'd be easy to differentiate each game and that's what I love about Nintendo, I get a variety game types that are almost always very polished and super fun to play.
You seem to enjoy commenting on Nintendo articles despite how "crap" you think their stuff is.
I thought Nintendo's showing at E3 was the best of all. I am genuinely excited about the upcoming games on the Wii U.
@Defender1978 You're Stevie Wonder right?
Can Super Smash Bros. Just release already. I cannot wait to get my hands on it, its the reason I buy Nintendo consoles and I am ready to put my Wii U to use!
All i see is again the same approach , heroes and gaming policy.
If it works why not but thats not a good sign ... Mario kart , mario this mario that , 2D games , zelda , kart and smash... I can understand that these games are exciting for Nintendo fans but ...not so much for everyone else considering Wii U missing major multis also...
The only Wii Us games im excited for are Zelda and Xeno X ... everything else are ... just typical Nintendo..nothing to be excited about imho.
@AzatiS You can say the same about any of the other consoles reveals. Nothing was really exceptional and in the end it's strictly based on the individuals taste in games.
@Minders @AzatiS He clicked on this video with the intention to complain.
@AzatiS You do realise that this video is of nintendo exclusives, thus no multis. Also, you seem to have missed quite a few games in this video if all you saw was mario and zelda.
Such as the new IP from Nintendo themselves, Bayonetta, Fire Emblem and Monster Hunter
@AzatiS Mario Kart was already released before E3. The only other Mario game they mentioned was Mario Maker, which is completely unique to the franchise. Go be a tool somewhere else.
@AzatiS So the PS4 and Xbox One have all of these games being created like Dark Souls for it now. Yeah, that sounds really different. If the games look so bad I guess you don't play any indie games either since they are definitely not the pinnacle of game graphics.
