I still do not know why people defend this game. If you like NFL teams then fine I'm sure you don't give a damn you're a casual towards the sport. If you love FOOTBALL you should be up and arms about how EA for years hasn't simulated the game! it's terrible. However it still sells millions...I don't get it?

Oh and before I forget, the camera being behind players on defense is new, but I bet it won't work in couch exhibition games. Are you even going to be allowed to use this feature in 2-player offline head to head? Another gimmick feature.

You guys want to know what's funny? All of these "new features" have been in every madden since I started playing them, starting with Madden 2001. There is literally NOTHING new here. Want me to prove it? Go boot up your copy of Madden 25 (or any previous on, really).

-All of those "new" defensive line moves? Already in the game and have been for years - minus the icons.

-Different tackles based on risk? Yep, already in the game too. Square dive tackles, hit stick "power" tackles, and you can even try a "strip the ball tackle" with L1 (which is the most risky).

-Those defensive animations where guys are swatting passes, tackling, ect.? Already in Madden 25 and previous versions.

-The tackling vision cone will be one and done just like the QB vision cone was in Madden 2008 (IIRC). Why are they bringing back something many people hated, but for defense? Is EA this clueless? No, they know their core casual market doesn't want simulation football. Sad.

I'm awestruck at the audacity of EA. EA the lords of lies, kings of puffery, and the best at giving their customers as little value for their money as possible.

P.S. YOU CAN BET YOUR ASS THE ADVERTISEMENTS IN THE GAME AND PAY-TO-WIN ULTIMATE TEAM WILL BE UPDATED. GTFO EA.

@Enfamous_Mr_BHC I agree! I'm more eagerly awaiting the end of EA's licensing agreement than any installment of their Madden franchise. I do stick my head up every 4 to 5 years and I take what Madden force feeds me. I do need a football game to play and I'm not interested in college ball at all, even though I've been told NCAA is better. Of course the college game is in it's own bucket right now.

I'll wait for the player reviews and hope this game at least rates a 5 of 10. Madden 10 was the last installment I paid for. So, yeah... 5 years. I'm not holding my breath.
