E3 2014: Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Gameplay Demo at Microsoft Press Conference
Take a look at some new gameplay from the highly anticipated Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare as revealed at Microsoft's E3 Press Conference.
It's sad to see little X hit markers popping up to tell players when they made a hit. Good blood effects and hit reactions work better than seeing a stupid X, I really hope the hitmarkers can be disabled this time, they ruined immersion in black ops 2 story mode. Also very disappointed that this is another futuristic COD. The 70's, 80's, 90's, or early 2000's would of been much better. This better have gore like COD W@W at least. These games are rated M, they are about war. Stop with the clean combat.
But check what's the man doing at 03:00 ! The city is in chaos, and he is like "slowly looking around me, look at that amazing graphics, new engine"! LOL!
These cinematic cutscenes like "hold on, get that door, grab that gun" etc. worked out fine in 2007, but today look kinda...ridiculous...
graphics and gameplay and atmosphere look great (agree with friendlygoat) I don't know why you little whiny bitches are complaining.
Wow.. A lot of hate in theses comments. Graphics looked great IMO. New dynamics to the gameplay, very futuristic feel. Loved the grenades and the thruster feature. And since when does the person who demonstrates a game for the first time, ever actually play the game the way you normally would? It's a "demonstration." Lighten up people.
so.. same 4 to 5 hour campaign.. same (most likely ) graphics engine again with last gen visuals, lots of explosions, enough scripted set pieces to make Micheal bay cream his pants and a few tweaks to multiplayer.. how.. boring..
Is it just me, or did the moment the mission cinematic ended and you pulled up your gun to play, the game's quality went downhill? The moment he pulled out his gun, any notion of graphical fidelity they were trying to sell just disappeared.
I must say the announcer didn't look truly inspired to me. He pretty much had the same expression as me when watching this video. -_-
And that expression pretty much sums up my feelings on what I saw.
It was also truly irritating watching the guy playing the game, it was so unnatural how he looked around, no one plays a game like that.
Well, I guess it's a fitting announcement for Call of Duty, it was as scripted as the game itself. Even the the guy playing was trying his best to make the non scripted sequences look scripted by moving the camera slowly and smoothly around while not in combat.
Soooo, this is the portion of the game they show us at E3.
I'm not impressed. Good graphics don't always make a good game. That gameplay looked slow and boring imo.
@evilbhai well that beats me ...... lol
@Printul_Noptii it was MW2
@Printul_Noptii NO, it's 2 i say
@rmartinezdl Gamespot videos can't go more than 24fps, just like youtube.
