E3 2014: Bloodborne Quick Impression
Randolph and Justin break down their impressions about the PS4 exclusive Bloodborne.
Another zombie game, how original. I'd rather see the freshly dead being resurrected into monsters by necromancers. Looks cool though.
So they are in fact still developing this around the "souls-ish formula" so to speak. Makes me wonder if this is actually a Demon's Souls sequel but leave it up to the player to figure that out through the game. I also welcome the concept of advancements through time periods. Traditional medieval period rpgs are great but it gets a little annoying sometimes when game lore describes centuries upon centuries of time passing and virtually no natural human advancements are made in the world. I imagine a lot of people are put off by the shotgun but i think it could be an interesting combat mechanic provided From uses it in the correct manner.
Wowza. I was expecting just another fun Dark Souls game, but this is looking amazing. I find it to be a very neat idea to take the concept behind Dark Souls, but place it in more of a modern Victorian era, rather than very ancient areas like the other souls games. Very excited. Might have to buy a PS4 just for this.
My first assumption is this is From making the pseudo survival horror aspects of the Souls games the main focal point.
SIGN ME UP.
Don't think I'll be playing this one, very interesting game from the looks of it, just not a fan of the souls series. Oh we'll, maybe I should give this one a shot.
@edeep87 Project Beast = Bloodborne. Project Dark was the working title for Dark Souls.
@laith_kattan7 There's some gameplay leaked through gifs online... And it looks fantastic.
@chris120379 The Soul series becomes fun after you get the hang of it. That takes a while but it's amazing after it clicks.
@Swaghard how about Dark borne
@Helidokter That is an excellent question... Yes. I like "Dark Borne." I would also have accepted, "Dark Bloodorne."
