bfhardline is full of the same bugs, problems and bad netcode that bf3/bf4 have. 3 battlefield games in 5 years and they still have this problems. unbelievable. heatseekers are back to ruin helis and there is a auto-revive feature, this is just beyond stupid. the cop vs robber is cool and unlocking weapons by buying them is awesome, but this is another broken battlefield game with some bad features that ruins the game. another battlefield game to skip.
using a broken engine and copy paste code from broken battlefield games to develop a new game is always a good idea.
I came to read some of these comment so to see if I was being to harsh on this beta, but seems i am feeling most others. The beta lost my interest very quickly. Its pretty much BF4 in an urban environment. This should be an expansion there is nothing new, replace the money with a flag or bomb and it's just like any other game style. I usually like battlefield but might be skipping this one.
side note i was lucky enough to get into the Destiny alpha and so far it is amazing so might make skipping Bf easy
Already bored of the Beta..... They should have stayed military but now we'll be stuck in the same setting/background. Cops/Robbers is so small scale, and now with PayDay 2 coming to PS4/X1, this one is pretty moot. Bigger isn't always better.
I know some people who have played this and just say its battlefield 4 with cops and robbers. nothing special and it should have just been an expansion onto bf4 instead of a new game. if this game sells at 60 bucks then its a real rip off
BF Hardline is a ton of fun, try it if you have the chance. There is definitely a lot of promise for this game and heck the Beta has launched smoother than BF4 retail release itself did.
I was shocked that almost 95% of games that sony showed was multiplatform. With no exclusives for this holiday season. On top of that only driveclub is coming this year.Last of us really dont count with it just being released on the PS3 a year ago.Makes me wonder if their not putting the money into exclusives because of the billion's that theyhave lost over the Past 8 years?I know this past quarter they lost 1.2 billion and their going bankrupt in 2015 not good at all.Hope they dont leave the console market we need competition
So uh, do I get this expansion with battlefield 4 premium or are EA a bunch of rip off merchants? I think everyone knows the answer to that. It's a £50 standalone game! obviously... My God my faith in EA has been ripped in to shreds. They had almost earned it back too
@waffleiron88 You lost me at the word "quality".
@oo7superdave I also got into destiny Alpha, add me if youd like -> rpezzotti
@mr_azim EA is retarded I didn't even get in the beta yet on PC, I signed up about 45 mins after they showed it at E3, and I still didn't get it... even though just yesterday I told about 4-5 people to go get it... they all got it... and I still didn't get it, when did you get into the beta?
@mr_azim 100% agreed. This game has a very similar feel to Pay Day 2 but with 64 players and vehicles. Just no suspense or anything like pay day has.
Everything is just run & gun after the money.
@mcmflyguy I played a few rounds this morning and your comment pretty much sums it up. Other than being like counterstrike a bit with having to purchase weapons / upgrades, it looks and feels exactly like BF4. I probably won't buy it, at least not right away but it doesn't really feel like anything new.
But I have only played a few matches so I'll give it a chance while I have the ability to play the beta.
@klugenbeel Its BF4 with a new skin... chances are if you like bf4, youll just like more of the same.
@samestro Except with playing BF Hardline Beta and had played Payday 2 as well, BF Hardline is WAY better than Payday 2. Far more fun, far more action. The only complaint is when teams are off balance, cops can absolutely cripple the criminals, I am sure they will work on some of the balancing issues as time goes. BF Hardline already has given me more hope than BF4. When I was in the BF4 beta, it was buggy just like BF4 at release, Hardline does have some bugs, it's a Beta, BUT it runs very well, smooth and so far the bugs are not very noticeable. Hardline is just different enough for the BF franchise that it could possible be one of the better if not best FPS to play in 2014 upon it's release.
that makes no sense. payday is 4 player co op. this is much larger with larger destructible environments and more players. its payday + tactical intervention with battlefield mixed in. looks way better than payday so far.
